The hotel is located not so far from Königsallee, Shadowstrasse and so on, so wonderful position. The rooms are clean but, if you're not so lucky, you can get a 3x3 meters room with no space even for a big luggage, and your friend with an apartment, sofa, etc. is paying the same price ! The breakfast is absolutely under... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel in October 2013. All is very traditional room was clean the shower was great and the breakfast was just what we needed. Do not expect a five star anywhere but do experience the german way of hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back. For those who want to park their... More

We stayed here as a family with older teens in December. Staff are very friendly and the hotel has a traditional feel. Our room in the garden was good, except for the shower, which really did not work properly (floppy and intermittent hot water). However the "children" stayed in the main hotel and loved their rooms, especially the excellent showers.... More

Spent one night only (planned as such). Family room big enough for the 4 of us (with large cases) without falling over each others feet. The staff friendly and very helpful (found their fluency in English sufficient). Room was clean and everything worked and continental breakfast appetizing and selection quite adequate. The transport option that is included in the room... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a 9 week road trip in May and June 2012 through about 17 European countries. So we have plenty of hotel experience on which to base our judgements (see our other reviews). Of all the hotels we stayed at - nearly all chosen as a result... More

Stayed here in Dec for the Christmas markets with my Mum and two sisters. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and I loved the decorations and cosy feel of the reception/bar are. My Mum and sister stayed in one of the garden rooms and it was a bit cold for my elderly mother, guy in the reception said... More

Not much to write about except that the room was a bit shabby.. And personnel hardly spoke any english.. At the same time the beds were really comfortable to sleep!

Book via the web. Pictures represent the hotel accurately. Ok location. Seemed to be a lot a noise at night. When booking the hotel, I inquired about their Xmas Rickshaw. They told me it was bookable 24 hours before. Well since I was staying one night and traveling from abroad this didn't get done. All my requests were ingnored on... More

We opted to stay at the Hotel Haus Hillesheim to experience a true German guesthouse/hotel over a chain hotel that was similarly priced. For both my husband and myself it would have been a very pleasant experience, however we were traveling with our toddler daughter and expect suitable accommodation for her as well. Our pet peeves: 1) smoking is allowed... More
