Just spent four nights at carat hotel dusseldorf. Ideal location in Altstadt and only five minutes walk from Rhine. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. Would stay at this hotel again. more

Small hotel in a great location on the edge of the Altstadt- walking distance to restaurants, shopping, museums. The walls are a bit thin, and guests can be heard returning to their rooms at all hours. Not inexpensive (US$200/night), but average for the area. Clean, modern rooms, great German breakfast buffet.
