Stayed for 2 nights in May 2015, booked a superior double room but was given a business double room. If you read through the hotel's website, you'll know there are details to different types of rooms of different costs. The room looked exactly the same as that on the website showing and describing a business double room. At the front... More

Hotel Sir & Lady Astor (actually those are two small hotels, facing each-other on the same small street, managed by the same lovely stuff). It is located at a short walking distance from the main railway station of Dusseldorf, Germany). Even though the area is noisy, the hotel is very peaceful. Lovely room. Lovely personnel. Lovely breakfast. Very clean and... More

We chose this hotel for being walking distance to the train station. For this reason, I can't exactly say the location for sightseeing is fabulous -- at least not on foot. If you use public transportation, it's not an issue. This hotel is actually two separate buildings across the street from one another. But it's a narrow, quiet street, so... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet street near the main station in Dusseldorf. Not a fabulous area, but the street is quiet and very safe, as is the whole area, really. It's also about a 25 minute walk to the Altstadt, and within shorter walking distance of the Berliner Allee, and the Konigsallee. The rooms are small,... More

This hotel is actually two buildings one on each side of a quiet street near the railway station which is a five minute walk away..its location is ideal as only ten minutes walk to the river cafés, bars and shops. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent and the hot eggs etc were cooked fresh.... More

I visit Dusseldof every March for a Wine Trade show and I have been staying here for the last 12 years . . . I think that says it all. Having stayed at places like The Hilton Park Lane, the Grand in New York to a log cabin in the French coast (yes for business) ... when you find your... More

An unusual set-up: two smartened up blocks in a rather dull side street, Sir Astor is the main building, with the Reception, and Lady Astor is equally smart across the street. Around 15 minutes walk to the very lively city centre, 5 mins from the station. We had the ground floor room in Lady Astor: not my ideal choice, and... More

This hotel is very charming compared to other ones in the city that can look a bit "corporate". We had room n°3. It was very clean and quite big (it is a superior room). The hotel is close to main train station and to the city center. You can walk all around the city back to the hotel with no... More

We were here for a weekend during the christmas markets. The markets are small when you compare this with Cologne but still nice to visit. Very nice hotel only 10 min from the old town and river. The walk towards is not the most attractive area but that is a detail. Marvelous breakfast!! Rooms are not that big, but for... More

Great beds, lovely staff, awesome breakfast. What else do you need for a city trip ? Nothing ! Just a 10 min- 15 min walk to the old city center, der Altstadt. Where there are no cars allowed. Parking around the corner, expensive, but it's a city....and a nice one. Great value.
