This hotel is a value with smartly decorated rooms for a budget price. I only stayed for a night passing through Dusseldorf, but the room was clean and the staff was helpful. For $100 I don't think you can ask for anything more. It was a raining heavily, so walking around wasn't really an option when I was there. It... More

We stayed one night in this lovely hotel me and my family . this hotel is near Dusseldorfs train station (hbf) , in few words: who needs a 5 stars hotel when there are hotels like SIR AND LADY ASTOR , i stayed in many 5 strars hotels in the last 30 years that i can hardly remember but this... I stayed at Sir Astor hotel during my business trip between 8-11 July 2015. They are actually 2 separate hotels. Sir Astor and Lady Astor. They are in the same street. Well generally the hotel is good and the room stayed was really cosy and cute. The staff in the reception and breakfast area was welcoming and polite. Just around... More

The hotel is an easy walk from the main station. Although it is not directly in the older, main tourist section of Düsseldorf, it has easy access to trains and trams, or 10 to 20 mins walk to the Rhein, restaurants, shopping precinct, königsallee and Hofgarten. The hotel is run supremely well, with all staff cheerful and helpful. We loved... More

This hotel doesn't look like much fro the outside but the rooms are lovely, the breakfast overlooking the quiet back garden is superb and the service super-friendly. The location is pretty good too. You can walk most places from here.

We stayed at Sir Astor part of the hotel and we had a great time. Room is spacious and nicely decorated. Bathroom with shower over bathtub with lot of spaces for your amenities. Bed was very good, although on the softer side for my taste. Breakfast was great, classic selection of sweets/fruits/cereals/eggs and even waffles, it was very nice start... More

Stayed for 2 nights in May 2015, booked a superior double room but was given a business double room. If you read through the hotel's website, you'll know there are details to different types of rooms of different costs. The room looked exactly the same as that on the website showing and describing a business double room. At the front... More

Hotel Sir & Lady Astor (actually those are two small hotels, facing each-other on the same small street, managed by the same lovely stuff). It is located at a short walking distance from the main railway station of Dusseldorf, Germany). Even though the area is noisy, the hotel is very peaceful. Lovely room. Lovely personnel. Lovely breakfast. Very clean and... More

We chose this hotel for being walking distance to the train station. For this reason, I can't exactly say the location for sightseeing is fabulous -- at least not on foot. If you use public transportation, it's not an issue. This hotel is actually two separate buildings across the street from one another. But it's a narrow, quiet street, so... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet street near the main station in Dusseldorf. Not a fabulous area, but the street is quiet and very safe, as is the whole area, really. It's also about a 25 minute walk to the Altstadt, and within shorter walking distance of the Berliner Allee, and the Konigsallee. The rooms are small,... More
