Party of 5 rooms for trade show at Messe Essen. Large rooms, spectacular breakfast. Very good value. Reasonably located for getting into central D'dorf. Very suitable for cost effective business accommodation - but would not stay here if visiting Dusseldorf as a tourist, nor for social or romantic purposes, as it is located in suburban Dusseldorf and is pretty characterless.

We have just come back after staying here for two nights whilst on business and pleasure. We have not stayed in this area before and initially thought it was a bit too far out from the centre. We then found that it was a pleasant walk along the Rhine to the centre. We were very pleased with suite as it was... More

We booked the Deluxe Suite and were pleasantly surprised with the very large space. A huge bureau stored our clothes conveniently, and we had everything we needed for a delightful stay. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious with hot selections changing daily. Get there in plenty of time to enjoy the experience. Our room faced the courtyard and was... More

The hotel is nice, staff is (mostly) friendly. The problem is that there is no wireless Internet in the rooms, even though some guests (?) pay for it. The lobby had wireless connection, but no Internet access... Has potential other than this issue

Lovely big room and price is reasonable. But the service of Wifi is only available cramped next to a smoky bar. Quiet and private it is not. Similary the TV did not work in my room. When I pointed this out to the girl at reception she managed to turn both problems into some personal shortfall (your laptop is not... More

Good value for money, huge room, clean and in a residential area, however does not have the same feel as being in a luxury suite in a hotel. This is more of a quiet retreat. The only negativity from my part was the fact that the bathroom was quite close to the stairs in our particular suite therefore trying to... More

I booked this hotel last minute through the HRS App, I got a great last minute deal. I had room 505, which was very large. The room is perfectly clean, the bathroom is completely redone and new. The staff is very friendly at the reception. Only negative in this hotel is the poor internet Wi-Fi quality.

Stayed 4 nights at the villa viktoria in june and was amazed, the most comfortable suite we have ever had the rates are excellent for the quality accomodation on offer. The staff are professional, caring and helpful. We did have trouble with the heat in the room, until we found some clown had turned the heating up to maximum, as... More

This is a beautiful authentic villa, at the skirts of Dusseldorf. Convenient if you are a guest of Rheinmetall, if you need to visit a friend at the nearby jail, or just prefer a unique hotel experience and don't necessarily want to stay downtown. This is a romantic place, with spacious rooms, perfectly maintained. besides a strange design fault in... More

Me and my wife spent a weekend at the Villa Viktoria whilst in Dusseldorf. The hotel is absolutely fantastic. Although slightly out of the city centre, this means it is very quiet in the local area. The city centre is easily accessible by the tram which stops about 2 mins from the hotel or by taxi (approx €10). We stayed... More
