We stayed in an beautiful suite in Villa Viktoria, room 201. It was actually 2 floors with a nice sitting area with a sofa and 2 chairs, TV, desk, 2 single beds that fold away and a full bathroom on one floor and an entire other bedroom suite downstairs. We were surprised at how spacious the room was. The breakfast... More

Enormous suite with bed on a mezzanine level. Unlike other reviewers it was not at all shabby and no smell of smoke. My room was at the back overlooking the garden, but my companions were at the front with a large balcony. A short tram ride from the centre. No real ambiance to the neighbourhood but if you are looking... More

I stayed here for one night in early May 2015. This was my second stay, having spent one night here in 2012. Whilst it's a nice friendly hotel, it's beginning to look a little faded. The rooms (I had Suite 502) are reasonably well equipped but what equipment there is, is beginning to look a little tired. staff are very... More

Villa Viktoria is close to the airport and exhibition area. A nice hotel with big suites at correct prices. The breakfast is superb with a lot of choice in most of the indredients you need early morning. The rooms are becoming old-fashioned and would need a real make-over. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood and easy parking spaces in front of... More

The hotel has spacious suites, which offers great value for money. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was not included, but was on offer. The only thing that was not acceptable was the odour of cigarette smoke everywhere in the hotel - except for the room was odour-free. The hotel is non-smoking as far as I understand,... More

Stayed at Villa Viktoria over the weekend with our two boys to visit the the Xmas Market. Our two deluxe rooms were so large they were bordering on the ridiculous! The staff were most friendly and nothing was too much for them to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast spread was again huge, tasty and fresh. All in all there... More

Party of 5 rooms for trade show at Messe Essen. Large rooms, spectacular breakfast. Very good value. Reasonably located for getting into central D'dorf. Very suitable for cost effective business accommodation - but would not stay here if visiting Dusseldorf as a tourist, nor for social or romantic purposes, as it is located in suburban Dusseldorf and is pretty characterless.

We have just come back after staying here for two nights whilst on business and pleasure. We have not stayed in this area before and initially thought it was a bit too far out from the centre. We then found that it was a pleasant walk along the Rhine to the centre. We were very pleased with suite as it was... More

We booked the Deluxe Suite and were pleasantly surprised with the very large space. A huge bureau stored our clothes conveniently, and we had everything we needed for a delightful stay. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious with hot selections changing daily. Get there in plenty of time to enjoy the experience. Our room faced the courtyard and was... More

The hotel is nice, staff is (mostly) friendly. The problem is that there is no wireless Internet in the rooms, even though some guests (?) pay for it. The lobby had wireless connection, but no Internet access... Has potential other than this issue
