Don't expect a palace with a huge marble lobby. It's a small, humble hotel in the city centre. But from a price/quality point of view this is one of the best hotels where we ever stayed. No negative remarks at all except the WIFI that doesn't connect once you're on the 3rd floor. The management perfectly knows it and in... More

This unassuming, relatively small hotel is a real gem. It's located just one U-Bahn stop away from the old town, or a few stops by tram, close to several shops, cafes and restaurants, and a supermarket. The room was clean, modern and cosily warm with comfortable beds, duvets and pillows: I slept so well. A complimentary large bottle of sparkling... More

I stayed here in April 2013 to attend a business meeting. The place was just awesome. Location of the property was perfect that is not too far from the city center and very close to good restaurants and bars. Free wifi, lovely rooms, clean washrooms, abundant amenities, nice ambiance and great hospitality are the other highlights of this hotel. Staff... More

We were two couples (age around 50) who visited the boot fair Friday and Sunday, and Dusseldorf center on Saturday. Great location: We took the U-bahn at "Klever" located approx 10 min walk from the hotel. It goes directly to the fair, and directly to the center (altstadt). However, after some time we discovered that it takes about 20 min... More

A small, reasonably priced hotel. Clean, modern rooms. Free internet. Good bars and restaurants nearby. One stop on the metro to the old town. This place was just what we wanted. Finally, I should mention breakfast. It's probably the best I have ever had in a hotel like this - and I stay in hotels regularly. Praise indeed.

Small hotel, family run, in the middle of Dusseldorf, Hotel National had nice if typical three star room. The guest services/front desk personnel speak very good English and are genuinely helpful. The 'secret sauce' of the hotel is this friendliness, coupled to an outstanding breakfast buffet, with a very wide variety of items. I've paid up to 30e for a... More
