If you are attending an event at the Messe, this is very convenient, as the hotel is located on the northern side of the Altstadt, but south of the Messe/convention center facilities. It is also relatively close to the Altstadt and a very short ride to the airport (less than 7 kms but an easy and quick connection). This hotel... More

This hotel is located between the old town and Messe. So you get direct access by bus or U-Bahn to the Messe, and can walk to the old town. The area of the hotel is not particularly interesting but it seems safe and there are a few restaurants. For this price it was much better than expected. The breakfast is... More

We went to Dusseldorf for one night in the weekend. This hotel was a good choice for that, the room was big, clean and simple. Indeed a bit boring, like an other reviewer said. The bathroom was also big, but a bit outdated with a shower curtain and a showerhead that wouldn't stay in its holder. We had a room... More

Needed to spend two days visiting an exhibition at the messe. No real social time so started looking 4 or 5 stops down on the u bahn to keep it reasonable. We were likely to arrive around 7pm and leave by 8am so st the price the imperial was a good find. Due to being tired we headed to the... More

I stayed here for a week during the boatshow. The rooms are nice and have a nice bathroom. I didnt like the showercurtain that much since the floor would still get wet. But thats only a small detail. I liked the breakfast a lot and the people that worked during breakfast were very nice. The location is good since it... More

At last we found a perfect place to enjoy a weekend with our family. Although we have been to several places in the starting of this year, but always had some issues regarding services of the staff, location or food, etc. And finally our visit to Imperial City Hotel in November 2012 was what we were looking for. One of... More

The hotel was 'what you get for your money' but with a bit more to it. My friends and I decided to go for this hotel as it has very secure car park and price seemed to be good. It has all the necessities, room was spacious. The staff were very kind. However, don't expect for anything more than that.... More

The cleanliness of the room was excellent. The management took into account our previously expressed wishes regarding hygiene and anti-allergic bedding. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious and quietly located at the rear of the hotel. Heating and domestic hot water were perfectly adjustable. The hotel has an underground car park with reserved parking spaces. Pleasant breakfast room... More

The Imperial Hotel looks a bit boring from the outside, but inside you will find a spacious lobby and dining room, where a good breakfast buffet is being served. The owner is a painter, and some of her art work is on display in the hotel, and can be bought. The rooms are equally a bit boring at first sight,... More

I chose this hotel twice already for weekends in Duesseldorf. Main factor for picking this hotel was the low price. There is nothing to complain about this hotel. The staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and are equipped with neutral furniture, flatscreen TVs and safes. The only minus about the rooms is that they dont have airco. On... More
