while the location and accommodations are good, you must be careful about what room you get. The hotel is on a very busy street and the noise is very loud, even late at night. Traffic is constant and the streetcar passes right in front, in some cases shaking the hotel. If you can't get a room in the back or... More

Dear Jim, we very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf City Center. It is important for us to receive feedback and indeed we are directly located in the heart of City Center so it is difficult to have absolute silence but I can assure that the windows are very well soundproof. We had booked a room at the Düsseldorf Mercure hotel Seestern, but due to a problem our room wasn't available anymore. We got the opportunity to go to the city center hotel, a drink at the bar and the choice of going by taxi. At our new hotel we received a room upgrade, instead of a regular room, we got... More

The hotel is in a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast tasty and rich. The single room is small, so one does not feel lost :) but clean. Internet stable and fast. A bit expensive.

I was really chocked from this bad hotel The rooms are very small, nothing in the room. No space for your clothes, dust is all over , you need to beg for an extra towel, for an extra soap don't even dream about it. You need to be athletic in order to cross the way to the shower which is... More

I apologize for the trouble caused and am sorry for the inconvenience and that you have not felt comfortable with us. I assure you that we attach great importance to cleanliness, the mentioned room is indeed a bit older and will be considered in future renovations. Please allow me a final message that normally our service and our house are... More

The Accor/Mercure formula is quite a sure value. Reasonable rooms with reasonable prices. I chose the Mercure at the Stresemann Platz because it was located close to the Altstad (15 minutes walk) and the reasonable price. The service and the bar in this hotel are good as well as the bed. But the single rooms are small as well as... More

When booking trip to Germany I knew we wanted to be close to transportation (train). Our agent suggested the Mercure in City Center. The hotel is older which adds to the quaintness and character. The hotel staff was friendly enough; the room itself was nice and clean with enough room for two. Our particular room was off the courtyard so... More

We stayed there 2 nights.. and because we were gold members we were upgraded to a superior room. Location The hotel is 3-5 min walk from the main train station.. 2 tram stops from konigsalle which is the upscale shopping area. 3 metro stops from Altstadt.. so it is the perfect spot. Room Our superior room was very very spacious..... More
