We went to Dusseldorf along with our toddler for the kerstmarkt this November. Hotel Batavia is very well located and offers a good price = facilities ratio. we were very well received. Room was clean and had all the basics.Everything is within walking distance.

I am not a fan of a soft mattress, much preferring a 'firm', but a rock hard mattress is another matter entirely and was like sleeping on the floor. We stayed here for 3 nights and for 3 nights we hardly slept! Tea/coffee facilities only offered in the reception area not in the room, which is just so inconvenient. The... More

Stayed here for four nights, the location is ideal within easy walking distance from the train station and into the old town. the rooms were spacious and kept clean. Although the staff did insist on us leaving our key behind reception anytime we went out of the hotel, which we found weird as never been asked to do this anywhere... More

Spent 2 nights here earlier this month. The hotel exterior and foyer are quite small and nothing special, so we were really surprised with the size of our room and the simple but pleasant decoration and furnishings. We were on the very top floor, with room for 4 and a handy separate toilet and shower. Breakfast had a decent selection... More

We found the Hotel Batavia with our GPS. It was on a corner and we parked in a garage a few blocks away. The room was only 118 Euros for two nights so we were not expecting much. Actually we had a large room with a flat screen television that had several channels in English. It was within walking distance... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night during a layover in Dusseldorf, GE. The few staff members we encountered we friendly and helpful. We were given a studio in the apartment building across the street. The room was bland and boring, and the bed was so-so. However, it was nice and clean when we arrived and somewhat spacious.... The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Room was comfortable and very clean. Yet, it's worth mentioning that the walls are too thin and you can hear everything going on next to and above your room, not the best experience in that sense. Dusseldorf hbf is within walking distance from the hotel, as well as the most important commercial... More

This hotel is very reasonable at 65 Eu a night so ideal for a one night stay so don't expect 4 star amenities. It is only a 15 minute walk to the Altstadt (old town) which seems to take less as you have to pass down a road with lots of very high end stores which are great to look... More
