We stayed for a week, whilst attending the Glasstec exhibition. Rooms were clean, and well soundproofed, so the heavy traffic expected in a city centre location could not be heard at all. Free wifi was good quality, and the breakfast buffet was very well presented. Staff allowed me to practice my German, and as a result by the end of... More

Basic accommodation, clean and quiet. Breakfast very good: lots of cold meats, cheese etc.. (typical German), unlimited coffee, numerous teas (herbal & "real". Fruit, yoghurt & some cereals. No bar or restaurant in hotel..

The hotel is very basic, and the noise from passing trams is intrusive. The worst thing is the price for a basic room during Medica We paid around 440 euros for one night, and that was booking some time in advance. The hotel actually tried to get me to pay in advance, or they would cancel the room. I had... More

Good location, close to train station, but not at the city centre. Room and bathroom was very clean, nice decoration and warm. But little far from old city centre, breakfast was ok, but generally in Germany breakfast in hotels don't have any sweets (croissant, cake etc). It was really cheap, i would definitely recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel for a stag weekend and promised the staff I would post a comment. We arrived late on a Thursday evening (all 18 of us) and the reception staff could not have been more helpful. Not sure they are used to large groups, but we were soon in our rooms with a free map of the town.... More

The room itself was quite pleasant and good for the price. I would have really enjoyed it if the customer service was up to scratch. The front desk girl gave us wrong directions which left us walking in a big circle to get somewhere simple. When we were getting ready to check out (11am) we got rudely asked when we... More

Me and my boyfriend staied in Hotel Residence Dusseldorf for 6 nights and we were satisfied enough with our choice. The hotel is small and very cozy, nevertheless rooms are normal size and clean. I reccomend to buy breakfast in this hotel, because it is really nice. Good choice, snacks and drinks! We really liked it :) The weak side... More

If you are not used to traffic noise at night, avoid this hotel. We were on the top floor, and you could still hear it with the double glazed windows closed. Lots of sirens, drunken carrying on etc. so not much sleep. Also a twin bed room is a twin mattress room-the bed is built in, and it's impossible to... More
