Paid over €200 euros for a double room no private bathroom. I know it was during Euro Shop but this was a complete rip off. Breakfast was extra if you could call it a brekfast. Smell of stale smoke in room. I have not one good thing to say about this excuse for a hotel. Must have no minimum standards... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night because I couldn't find anything else in Dusseldorf. I will not go back there again. The rooms are very small. The hotel itself looks like it has never been renovated. The beds are very small and the matresses not very confortable. You can hear all the noises from the street and from... More

I've been in this hotel in October 2013 and I did not have a great experience. I had problems to book the room. When I arrived my friend didn't find the confirmed booking room, they proposed us to sleep toghether. He refused and they found the room. The room was little with poor forniture, the bed not very comfortable; the... More

It is not the worst hotel in the world, you don’t see cockroaches climbing the walls and the sheets are clean but it is a very old carpeted hotel that has clearly accumulated tobacco smells over the years which offers quite a disgusting scent to wake up to in the morning. It’s very cheap, which is great for young travelers,... More

The room had no windows and the bed linen seem not to be clean. The bathroom is not clean too, and there are 4 bathrooms for more than 60 people. Walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbor's TV. Finally, the internet was not working and not all the guys from the stuff are friendly.

My husband and I visited this hotel in March 2012. The receptionist could not speak one single word English. The room was dirty and the carpet was stained! The room had a refrigerator, but there was no plug... We were given a twin room, with 2 separate beds, although I requested a double room. The pictures on the website are... More

We booked a 3-bedroom for a 1 day party trip to Duesseldorf. Price was was 120 Euro with discount by booking via internet. So, in total for each 40 Euro which is perfect. Hotel itself is simple and you can't expect that much but rooms were clean and it is located not that far from the famous Altstadt (4 km).... More

We have just returned from a trip to Europe. Five countries, 7 different hotels. Berliner Hof Garni in Dusseldorf is a disgrace. We booked 2 double rooms for one night. One for my husband and I and the other for our two adult sons. We encountered a positively unenthusiastic, unpleasant close to rude receptionist. I explained to him that our... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night as I was attending a concert. I was looking for a hotel near Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof, so I got this one. It was a 10 minute walk from the station in a bit of a boring area. I arrived pretty early and I knew the room wouldn't be ready but I wanted to... More

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is without doubt the worse accommodation I have stayed in, in over 25 years of business travel. We were there during the EuroShop event so we paid a premium plus 600 pounds (not euros) for three people for two nights. There was no tea and coffee in the room but you could buy it... More
