Convenient for trams and the main railway station, the hotel decor might be a bit dated, but it is clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The German style breakfast was plentiful with really good coffee. The young man on the reception was exceptionally helpful and there are a few nice bars very close by.

This hotel is easy to find, its a 5 minute walk from main train station, On arrival we were given a twin room, had expected a double but it was only a preference. I asked Mario the receptionist if they had any doubles, he said no but moved us to a triple which was more spacious and just pushed 2... More

No problem with this hotel. Very basic and reasonable cost which zooms up during trade fair times. Only ten minutes from the station on foot. Just turn left and walk diagonally right.. Really cant go wrong.. hmm... Usual business hotel bed, table, bed and shower. TV though... don't expect kettles and tea bags etc. Breakfast early through till ten. Tea (... More

Decent hotel, we stayed here recently when attending a Manchester United game in Leverkusen, the hotel is a short walk from the main train station which can talk you anywhere in Germany. A taxi from the airport will cost you around 20-25 euro. over all a decent hotel not much to write home about. Brekfast is on the house so... More

The Furstenhof / Novum Maxim Hotel was pre-booked early in 2013 in anticipation of my visit to the Medica last week, expecting decent accommodation based on the website details. On the contrary the Hotel was totally misrepresented. The entrance was dark & "dirty", the lift small, the room passage dark & smelly the greatest diaappointment being the room itself. This... More

Location of the hotel is at a reasonable distance from the city center and the Koenigsallee. The best selling point for the hotel is the huge, partly private, parking garage in front of it at only Euro 10,00 a day. The wifi only works in the reception area and in the staircases. The worst part however is the breakfast. A... More

I feel I am writing a review on the wrong hotel. I had booked a night for myself and two boys in the Hotel Beyer through Booking.com but when we arrived there was a sign on the door saying the hotel was closed and to ring a number. There was NO notice from the Hotel Beyer and in fact I... More

Someone wrote that it took 15 minutes to walk to the HauptBahnhof. I'm a slow walker and it never took me more than 10 minutes. I stayed 4 nights at the hotel and was pleased with the friendly staff, and cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was really very good, too. The downside was the terrible Wi-Fi connection. You had... More

I was there for the annual wine fair. Hoping it was close to the station and to the center as pubblicized on the site. It is not. It took me a good 15 minute walk (i walk fast) to get to the station and 20 min to the center. The room size was ok, but the bathroom was small, and... More
