I booked this hotel for a large group for a conference we were organising. When we visited the hotel we had great assistance so I was surprised by some of the poor reviews on this site but maybe it has improved in the last 12 months. Service was always friendly and helpful The rooms here are significantly larger than most... more

Nice hotel! The only negatives are an expensive breakfast and parking. Clean rooms and friendly staff. All the comforts of home. We are returning this June:) more

The price is high in comparison to the service offered. I've experienced some problems with the laundry service and I can tell you that the staff of this hotel has not actually understood what means quality and customer satisfaction !! I don't recommend that hotel ; there are others much more better in Dusseldorf ! more

Booked direct with Marriott. Thats the problem when you have a loyalty card!.You book on trust.! We have returned this evening from a one night stay at this hotel and I feel like I've been camping! This hotel is a local german hotel warranting 3* (I know, I live in Germany). On arrival I spent the first 5 mins wondering... more

Well... for about 320 euros for a couple... this place is definitely overpriced. Staff was average at best and they didn't even have porters for a 4 star... should lose a star just for that. Restaurants had adequate service but very average decor. Rooms were okay but for a business floor not any special amenities! Location is in the middle... more

This hotel is in need of refurbishment. Apart form the bathroom, which had been updated, the rooms, reception and restaurant reminded me of a ferry on the Baltic in the early 1980s. The main problem was the room temperature and airconditioning, which did not work properly and consequently resulted in a long and warm night.. I had dinner in the... more

Stayed here for two nights with partner for a weekend city break, first trip to Dusseldorf. Have to say very dissappointed, as a regular visitor to Marriot Group hotels and in particular Rennaissance properties, found this hotel to not be in the same league. The hotel is dated stuck in the 80's and doesnt look as if any rennovations have... more

A fantastic complement to our 3 day break in Dusseldorf! The rooms are perfect, the staff incredibly friendly and the overall experience beautiful. Even though it is in the suburbs of the city, the trams will have you by the main train station in 15 minutes. It's also just 4km from the airport. The swimming pool, although not the best... more

Very nice service for a business hotel, down to the chocolates given to you at check-in with your room key. Helpful staff, clean rooms, nightly turn-down service, and nice pool facilities (charge). Be sure to stop by the Greek pizza place right around the corner - delicious kebabs for just 2 EUR and excellent pizzas starting at 5 EUR. Tram... more
