Although the hotel could use a renovation it offers good prices, convenient location, and good quality food. The personnel are also very polite and helpful. A good value for money especially for business trips in the area.

Had a 4 night stay here for start of Karneval. We had a great rate for this stay. Had stayed here before and the hotel was just as good as we remembered. Very friendly reception staff who were only too pleased to help with any request. Our room on the 6th floor was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage... More

This used to be a Ramada or Sheraton or something, and Marriott's rebranding didn't do too much to update the hotel. The furniture in the rooms is clearly a decade or two old, but the beds are certainly comfortable. The overall feeling of the hotel is very "antique". It's not in the downtown area, but light rail passes can be... More

The hotel is well situated between the airport and city centre. Very dated, circa 1985 but spotless and well maintained. Breakfast was an American style buffet and while the scrambled eggs were like rubber, I was offered fresh eggs or an omelette. All the staff were pleasant and efficient. The room was large with essentials like an iron and kettle... More

I used this hotel 2 times now, both times had a great stay. From outside, hotel looks very old, but inside is much better (agree, not very modern, but well maintained). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included for me and was great. Close to airport (2 S bahn stops), but not much to do in neighbourhood of... More

Excellent price performance. Clean and neet. Nice personnel. Easy to take public transportation to down town and the trade show. Good breakfast while dinner is ok. Good connection to international airport.

We booked this hotel through points as we wanted to explore some German markets. We drove to the hotel (which was very easy to find). We then took the tram that is just near the hotel into the city. This was really easy and a better way to do the markets than trying to find parking. The hotel as some... More

This hotel was really handy for the airport, which is a short drive away. The tram line that runs into the town centre is just outside, but I walked into the city. That took about 45 mins and its a lovely walk past lots of shops. The hotel itself is starting to show its age, and does have an industry... More

Returned to this hotel for 3 nights after staying there last year for 3 nights. We kind of knew what to expect (we didn't expect 'modern and flashy') and we weren't disappointed (again). We know the Marriott-Renaissance brand well and even though (as many have said in their reviews) it is by no means a 'modern' hotel (like many other... More

I would not stay here again. The rooms are clean, but nothing has been updated since the 1950's. The menu at the hotel is very limited and does not change between lunch and dinner. The staff is very nice and friendly, but that only goes so far. If you are staying one night to get a morning flight, it is... More
