The property is in the process of renovation, therefore I am hestitant to give a final review. Pictures of the new room design, however, look very attractive. I stayed in an unrenovated room, which was already equipped with a new flat screen TV and new bedding. The rest of the room was pretty outdated (beginning of 1990's style), but clean.... more

I could not agree more with the previous review. This place is no more than a 2 to 3 star hotel. They really misrepresent themselves on the internet and play up minor amenities like "wake-up-call" and "make-up mirror". I was there for 3 days and things were constantly breaking. It is also totally removed from anything intereresting in the city.... more

During the summer I had a problem with the rate of the hotel. I booked it at a much higher rate than what is worth because of the World Cup. Not only management did nothing to solve this, the problem was the overall negative attitude of the staff. I understand when sometimes you it is out of your hands to... more

I spend a month in germany in hotels ranging from $250-$350 Euros. Without a doubt the Sorat was the worst of all. I will rate this hotel as a 3 star hotel to go with friends, I will be willing to spend $100 Euros not a cent more. The hotel is far from the dusseldorf movement, so you spend a... more

We visited hotel Sorat in a weekend in October 2005. This is a nearly perfect hotel: the rooms are spacious and clean, with a very acceptable bathroom and an excellent shower (no bath, which is conspicuous for a four stars hotel). visited the messe on 29/03/04 stayed overnightat the SORAT found the staff very friendly and helpful.The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all mod cons.also quiet.The restaurant was excellent food superb servicefirst class.Breakfast was out of this world,you name it.and it was there.presentation was very good.staff again superb.I would certainly use again.FIRST CLASS IN ALL DEPARTMENTS> more
