Where to start with this 'hotel'. It's near the train station, but then again there are doorways that would offer more than Hotel Komet that are a lot closer. The staff are rude, one of the three rooms that my party booked wasn't ready 5 hours after we checked in. After complaining at this the receptionist got very aggressive, saying... More

Really close to the Main train station City center and shopping centers easity accessible from the hotel The room was too small - with the shower IN the room. You feel a little bit uneasy about the furniture that is really cheap and old

This isn't even a hotel, it's basically a hostel...wait I've been to nicer hostels. The conditions of the room is not the greatest. There's stains on the bed, and mold on the wall. Also if you are a sharing a room, you still get one key per person. However despite all of this, we had so much fun there. I... More

Due to the Medica exhibition I paid the room 245 Euros per night, but it is not even worth 20 euros ! - It was sold as a non-smoking room but there was an horrible smell of smoke and perfume - the room is very small with a shower in the middle, no toilets (it seems they've put a bed... More

Centrally located, just a 3 minute walk from Dusseldorf central train station, it is the only good thing this hotel has. Connections to the hotel are easy, the main station is easily reachable by underground and bus. There are some shops in the area where you can buy your needs. Rooms are very small, ultra basic, old furnished and in... More

In over twenty five years travelling on holidays and business trips I have never come across such a disastrous hotel. The deciding factor which enticed me to book this hotel was it's proximity to the railway station and had I known what I would have been going in for I would have run and run. The hotel receptionist only knows... More

Hotel komet is not a hotel. The authorities Need to get the licence. The location of the hotel is very good (3 minutes walk from central station) , but staying in komet hotel is very bad experience. I will never forget the smell!!!!of the room. Keep away from there.

The cost of the rooms per night is low, though the overall quality of the hotel is lower than terrible. The odur when enteng the building is a first shock, and so is the odur inside the rooms. Old furniture, and torn towels and linen are just a small example of the owners' commitment to quality services. Cleanliness is not... More

Sometimes travel situations get crazy and you end up in weird situations for seemingly unexplained reasons. We had no plans to end up at Hotel Comet on Sep 14 in Dusseldorf, Germany. But I guess hotels should live up to their name. Hotel Comet is a no-frills simple lodging right in the heart of Dusseldorf. The location is very near... More

I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions over more than 10 years for both business and leisure. I have yet to find anywhere cheaper in Düsseldorf city. It is situated approximately 200 hundred metres, 2 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof, and convenient for shopping and siteseeing, The Kö shopping area is around 10 minutes walk, and... More
