The worst thing was that I got an outburst of allergy due to the ventilation system. I am not a person that gets allergy reactions but this time my sinus became heavily swollen and even my eyes. It was the same every night we stayed at the hotel and the sinus problems disappeared after awhile when leaving the hotel. So... More

I stayed in this 4 stars hotel for 5 nights. (-) no coffee machines in rooms. No bath robs. No body lotion nor conditioner in the bathroom. No swimming pool. Girls on from disk aren't smily. Breakfast for 28€ each person is not worthy! Not wide options of food and it's really expensive due to the options. But all what... More

As a first time at Melia, disappointing - there is nothing wrong with the hotel as such, but it certainly is not at the level of a 4 star hotel... No pool, no on-site masseuse (although the one they called in for me was really good!), way too expensive breakfast for what it was - the cheeses looked like the... More

The hotel is perfectly located and the amenities are fantastic. Too bad that the font office staf is not up to Melia standards and are not serving you with a smile. Encountered a lot of problems (room not double bed), problem with voucher for free breakfast and the discount of 15 euros a day for booking at Melia. Everything was... More

The stay in the hotel was very good. The room was clean and with plenty of room. The bathroom had more than enough room. We didn't enjoy the spa becuase we had only one night in the hotel. One minor point was that we had reserved the dinner included with the room deal and that was a disapointment: the dinner... More

Hotel Melia is located north of the old town. You can easily reach the old town with a 15 minute walk or by taking the streetcar U 78 or 79 at Nordstrasse (located just around the corner from the hotel). It is only one stop to the old town (Heinrich Heine stop). The hotel is also very close to Tohnhalle... More

We were moved to this hotel so didn't know much about it- it turned out to be the best thing about the holiday!!!! The room was superb, spacious with fantastic views. We stayed in room 820. The bathroom was spacious and the underfloor heating was well appreciated!!! We found Germans tended not to be welcoming in town but the staff... More

We recently stayed at The Melia Dusseldorf on a weekend city break. The hotel was modern, super clean and just a short walk from all the restaurants and bars of the Old Town. The room was well appointed, and the staff were friendly and helpful, giving us advice and detailed directions to good local restaurants. We asked and were given... More

This hotel is well located, near from the center (between 5 and 10min walking) of Dusseldorf. The service is very nice and the rooms are good (large and comfortable). The breakfast is normal. you can have drinks also in a pleasant ambiance. The prices are ok regarding the quality and the others hotels. So good choice!
