I thoroughly enjpyed my stay at the Hilton in Dortmund. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was excellent with a very comfy bed. Location: far away from everything - a car is really necessary or you have to get a taxi everytime you leave the hotel. Rooms: typically bland Hilton. In the bathroom was a horrible smell - bad sewer system obviously. Fitness: the pool is really small - doesn't resemble the pictures on the hotel's website. more

If you like firm beds, you'll love the Hilton Dortmund. We spent two agonizing nights there tossing and turning in bed. As my wife remarked, "I've slept more comfortably on a park bench."
