Really nice hotel. The rooms are modern, well cleaned and well appointed and most importantly the bed and pillows were really comfortable. I stayed two nights on a business trip to nearby Hagen. The restaurant food is amazing. Quality of ingredients and choice are really good and great service all round. Happy staff make happy guests! Really impressed and would... More

Situated on a busy road, close to the Phonix see and the city center this hotel offers great service and a relaxing stay. Rooms well serviced, friendly staff and the food great. liked the close proximity tot the train station that made the travelling in and around the city easy to access. Albeit being on business the hotel made you... More

The staff were all very friendly and helpful in this very traditional hotel, more suited to mature visitors than younger travellers. The train station is within a few minutes walking distance for transportation and thus very accessable, The restaurant offered a good selection of quality foods but the bar was poorly frequented. The room was adequate but the shower was... More

I stayed there for one night and the first impression was good. The parking is easy and the reception hall is nice. However it is located along a busy avenue which is convenient if you don't have your window facing this street. Then the bathroom is 80s style. The free WiFi was not useful as the signal was too weak... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel was spotless. Our room overlooked the main road but we didn't hear the traffic. Massive bathroom and lovely powerful shower. 2 single beds and a comfy double sofa bed. No sign of free tea or instant coffee. €12 for 2 coffees from room service was expensive. We emailed hotel to say we were arriving... More

Good hotel, nice rooms, bathroom a bit small and outdated but very clean and complete, for an overstay very ok, big busy street on the front side of the Hotel, so choose a room at the backside! Restaurant has a nice menu, and good quality food/prices

This was booked on my behalf by our regional office in Dortmund. Located on a busy main road so ask to be located at the rear. Plenty of parking in the front and very warm welcome from the front desk. Fast and efficient booking and reasonably priced. Room was clean and had a good sized bathroom with powerful shower. A... The Hotel itself was on a very busy road but the room we had room 226 was not noisey it was quite warm in the room but unlike may hotels in England we were able to open the window fully. Very comfortable bed but could not say the same for the pillow (only one) I am sure they would have... More

A very good hotel with easy access to Airport and Main town via tram. The Airconditioning was not working and the rooms were very warm. You could not open the windows as the Hotel is on the main 6 lane carriageway and was extremely noisey! The room brochure said you can order Tea or Coffee 24 hrs a day, but... More
