Spent 1 night for business: unpleasant reception people, dirty room, stinks and obviously needs renovation. In the middle of nowhere.... Only restaurant was slightly favorable due to "standard" service and basic menu, but nothing really fancy. You pay less, you get less! Don't expect a lot!

We booked this hotel, 2 rooms, for 4 travellers attending Germany v Scotland in Dortmund. We drove from Scotland and on arrival at the hotel, we were told the room had been cancelled as we had arrived after 6pm. We were told the hotel was full and we could go to another hotel but it would cost us about 5... More

This was my first Ibis Styles and I confess I was expecting more. There is a bar but no restaurant and the locality is hardly to be recommended for some where nice to eat. Nearest Italian Restaurant (not pizza take away) is in Witten 7km away. Unlike many Ibis hotels, this is neither an old Novotel or a new build... More

How cool is it to stay in a repurposed factory building! What started life as an ammunitions plant, is now a comfortable hotel. Apparently rooms vary a lot. Our room was huge. It had a queen size bed with space to get around it, as well as a single bed. There was also a table and armchair, bedside night stands,... More

Its not what we expected, but its nice, clean, quite, and in easy reach to the highways and cities. Nice breakfast and wonderful staff. Small rooms but nice even though some rooms with carpet need to be cleaned or to be removed! A small fridge would be nice at the room! (No fridge). Excellent wifi connection.

Hotel provides excellent value for money. Location rather remote from Dortmund city, surroundings not appealing for a tourist. Building seems a converted old warehouse with lots of common areas but nicely refurbished. My rooms was rather small, wonder why they did not increase space while the building has plenty of space. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was standard continental incl boiled... More

This isn't the place to stay if you're planning on a weeks stay in Dortmund. It is however brilliant if you want a hotel just off the motorway, clean, cheap and great service. Would definitely stay again, rooms small but perfectly formed, excellent WiFi, great friendly staff, decent menu ( ordered in from takeaways but very quick and cheap) decent... More
