This family hotel have the best location for shopping and it is very close to the Dome/cathedral, restaurants and everything you want to see in Cologne. I had a room on the backside of the hotel and it had a nice wood floor (do not like carpets) and a good bed with a big wardrobe - very clean and new.... More

For the price, it would be hard to find a better place. Location excellent. Nearby restaurants, shops and excellent traditional Kolsch pubs. Off street parking for only 9 Euro. A few minutes walk from the Cathedral. Near the S-Bahn station. The provided breakfast was very good, including scrambled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cerals, yogurhts, rolls, fruits, etc. Very good coffee... More

This hotel is located right on the Ring-Straße, in the heart of downtown Cologne. It is basically close to everything, including the subway and trams. This part of the Ring is a center for restaurants and evening entertainment, so rooms to the front will be noisy, especially on weekends. The location is actually the best thing about this hotel. The... More

The entrance hall of the hotel is done out in travertine marble and reminded me of a Roman hotel, especially as the Reception is on the first floor (there is a lift!). The staff are charming and speak English; the furniture in the public rooms is excellent and the breakfast was excellent too. I thought that the bathroom could do... More

I stayed at this hotel during a big food exhibition in Cologne. The hotel is very pricy for its category. Service is ok and breakfast is not bad. The entrance of the hotel is terrible and needs to be re-done. From the street it looks like a cheap youth hostel. One other thing that I disliked is that they asked... More

Big clean bedroom and huge bathroom. Bathroom could use some remodeling. Wi-Fi not great in room. Little dated but very spacious. Very close to shops and restaurants. Great base to visit other small towns around. Take a boat cruise on the Rhine. It's a non smoking hotel but they have a smoking room downstairs. The smell ends up in your... More

I was here only for 1 night for business, in this scenario the hotel was acceptable value for money. Overall the internals are pretty basic and old but to be quite frank my room was clean. Wifi free is a plus. The breakfast was acceptable even though the fruit salad was a mix of fresh and processed fruit MUST ONLY... More

Let`s start with the good parts: rooms are perfectly clean and adequate. I had a large batroom and the breakfast was fine. The staff where really nice and helpful. However, the entrance is dreadful with worn out carpets and bearing in mind there is a very good hotel around the corner (I couldn`t get booked into because of a fair... More

This is a handy, basic hotel close to the city centre. It is not hot on luxury - you get what you pay for, but the breakfasts are quite good. However the breakfast room floor is very bouncy. At least, you bounce when people walk past your table! We were there when there was a PC/Games Console Fair - my... More

Very nice hotel considering it is in the city centre. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms. Very quiet considering the location. Close to all restaurants and bars. From the outside, it does not look like a hotel but on entering it is a different world. Lovely antique furniture is the decor, and I can highly recommend. Will be staying there again In... More
