Great hotel in a very central location. 5-10 minute walk to the neumarket and a nice 10-15 minute walk to the Dom. Staff were very attentive. We stayed in a renovated room which was very large, good wardrobe space and had a good clean bathroom. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. more

Your stay in the Kolpinghaus will be top or a flop, dependent on the room you'll get. Be therefore advised to call the hotel in advance and ask for a renovated room !! The new rooms are tasteful and quite, the rest of the hotel fulfills the standards one expects from a three star hotel. The staff is very helpful... more

I stayed in the Kolpinghaus for 3 months in 2006 while I attended the World Cup and studied in Koln. The place is perfectly located to basically everything you would need in Cologne... Bars, attractions, High Speed Train station, Public train... I am actually looking at staying here again, on my next trip to Germany next year. more
