For many years I have stayed in the hotel but today my review is pertaining to the restaurant only. Being a bit chilly we decided to sit inside, typical German feel with dark wood and loads of memorabilia on the walls , some of which are most interesting. However I digress, I commenced with a Goulash soup and it was... More

Someone else booked this for us based on location and price. We had read reviews complaining about the noise. As we were there in October, the noise level was minimal. There are a number of hotels with outdoor restaurants on the block and a number of drinking establishments, so I can understand how it may be noisy late at night,... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The room is very small. The place is very noise. You have to paid 5 euros a day for internet, and if you for example have a phone and a computer, you can only connect one of them. I spent 20 euros on internet, because i'm going to stay for... More

PLUS POINTS: - Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from cathedral and central station. - Overlooks the Rhine. Riverboats stop outside - Good for nightlife - scores of bars/restaurants nearby. - Rooms clean if small and basic. Beds are comfortable. - Good buffet breakfast included in price. - Guests receive 10% off other meals in the restaurant. MINUS POINTS... More

I stayed here for 02-nights (15 & 16-Feb'13). My room was like a rat hole. Though I had requested for a single occupancy room, but when I am paying Euro 51 per night, I atleast expect to be able to stretch my hands without touching the walls. The website says very close to the Cathedral, but in fact its a... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The mistake we made is that we didnt know it was Carneval. I mailed with the hotel several times to cancel the booking or to change dates, but nothing was possible. So we did go. When we arrived it turned out that the money was already withdraw from my creditcard. The room... More

Good points: The continental breakfast buffet was nice enough, with bread, cold meats, cold cheeses, fruit, cereal and the usual beverages. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable, and had a massive television! The bathroom was also clean and a good size. We were able to leave our luggage locked up in the luggage room, both before we could... More
