On arrival the first thing that is noticed is the area. Graffiti and a bit poor on the eye. However it can't be too bad as the street cigarette machine was still in place with no signs of break in. There is a lack of hotel parking spaces and I advise people not to chance parking on the street as... More

If you visit the Cologne Trade fair is ok to stay.Is aprox. 500m away. Check in in the hotel was at 15:00hrs and check out must be done by 11:00 hrs as they inform us. Staff was nice and helpfull. I was disappointed with the room. We'd asked for a double bed but it was just two twins pushed together... More

We stayed here during a European roadtrip in May. The area is a bit rough surrounding the hotel and well away from the city centre. It's a 25 minute walk at least to the nearest train stop. The rooms are very basic and a bit dated, like an old Travelodge room at best. The staff were also not very courteous... More

This hotel was actually booked for myself and my colleague by our boss, however, our travel plans changed so we ended up arriving the day after the booking began. Turned out that the hotel had simply cancelled our rooms, and kept the money, without even trying to contact us. Fair enough it was in their terms, but surely a simple... More

We are a young couple in our 20s who stayed here for just one night. We booked a couple of days before, and unbeknown to us we'd decided to visit Cologne on the gay pride weekend - in hindsight, this was probably why the hotels were busy and more expensive than usual! +ves: Unlike previous reviews, we found the staff... The main purpose of the trip was to attend a conference at Koelnemesse which is quite close to the hotel. That was the reason we booked our stay there. -Check in was a bit slow -Room was small. We requested 2 beds and got a double bed but we just wanted to go out so we didn't bother asking for... More

maybe they gave me a "hostel" room and maybe the rest of the hotel is nice, but the room where I slept into was at the ground floor (very ugly) and was with very old and cheap furniture and a bathroom clean but ugly and "ancient". THE BREAKFAST IS ONLY CONTINENTAL: NO CAKES AND CROISSANTS

Good structure of hotel; Bad location (nothing around it); And the worst receptionist that I've ever seen. If I am not wrong, her name is Alessandra (small, fat and ugly woman). The check-in was planned at midday. We arrived at 11:30am and when it was 12:30am Alessandra informed us that the room would take more 3 hours to be ready.... More

hotel is clean and nice, the rooms are ok, but the beds are way to soft. the location is not that good, it is mabye 20mins from Lanxess arena and rather far from downtown. it is in an old neigbourhood that though has it's own charm. If you don't mind walking this is a good cheap option.

The room was small but clean and nice. There is no refrigerator or any extra and wifi in the room was poor. The room was very quite but there is a train rail behind the hotel. The location is not convenient at all, its 30-40 min walking distance to the central part of the city and train station.
