I stay here on business. Rooms are clean and the bed and pillows are really comfy. locations - less then 5 mins walk from the DOM / station. WiFi connection in rooms is brilliant (expensive, but my corporate rate makes it free) I love the breakfast here- fresh waffles and pancakes. nice selection of fruit and danish. lovely espresso and... Came into hotel to check in after my flight was early by an hour. That was a surprise enough, but what awaited me at the hotel could best be described as schizophrenic. The front desk staff seemed overly concerned with details, ranging from my passport being different (uhm, it's called aging--one gets glasses, hair goes gray, etc.), my charge card... More

Marriott cologne The Excellent I arrived at his hotel after saying at a really bad chain hotel for a couple nights. Once I found this hotel things got better. I am an elite member but I never go to the elite line or even mention it- so I can get a more authentic experience. I walked in and the staff... More

Bought a large executive group of West Ham United fans for their pre-season German trip. Check-in was very slick, dealing with all staff was a pleasure and all rooms were great. The walk to the nightlife area was a bit confusing but only ten minutes...not many bars nearby and the hotel bar although nice was 6.5 euros a beer. Pro's:... More

Well, as usual with Marriott (unlike their sub-brand Renaissance), all pretty standard stuff. If you are not looking for particular charm and design, you got all you need: well maintained, well equipped, excellent bedding, good sound-proof windows (air conditioning a little noisy). Inconvenience: while trying to get some money for non-gold non-platinum marriott members, they have a paying internet access... More

Very easy walk to the train station. Excellent location, views of the Dom next door. Breakfast buffet has all one could wish for. Staff are very nice and friendly, no problem for travellers who speak English. I found the bed quite hard, this was possible the least enjoyable aspect of an otherwise great stay.

Our family of seven arrived mid-morning on Sunday July 27th. We had requested early check-in due to flying from the Midwest U.S. to Frankfurt and then driving to Koln. We were all exhausted and ready to get some sleep upon arrival to the hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms we requested were not ready yet, but the desk clerk was helpful, suggesting... More

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon following a long train ride with numerous connections. After making our way through the train station and the throngs of people, we found a wonderful haven in the Marriott. The most friendly and helpful young ladies at the reception desk checked us in. (Wonderful Elena and another terrific girl from the Netherlands whose name... More

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms were as you would expect spotless and very spacious. It had a lovely shower and bathroom. Plenty of cupboard space to hang clothes up. A little fridge and coffee and tea making facilities which was great. Plus a nice armchair for me to sit and put my feet up. The bed was very comfy.... More
