My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April 2013, for two nights, and I wasn't impressed. The room was dark and old. This is a nice hotel with a very comfortable and spacious room. It was in quite a good location for the 2 train stations and the staff were friendly. Not many restaurants nearby though and the hotel one was quite expensive.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. TV in the room was very old, one day two of main German Channels didn't come on at all, hairdryer didn't work properly. Well located, nice staff, nice & clean romms...at an affordable price. Separated mention for the breakfast: SUPERB! Congrats........ P.D. Small suggestion: change the curtains of the bath tubes for glass walls: it's cleaner and, specially, much more hygienic .

Comfortable, clean room near to city centre. Good breakfast with lots of choice (pre-booked); late breakfasts at the weekend. Friendly, helpful staff. Bit of a walk from the station along banks of the the Rhine. Chocolate Museum opposite.

The first night the cleaner ignored the 'do not disturb' sign and woke us then failed to turn up to clean the room after we vacated it at 10.am. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, great shower. The staff were helpful, friendly and spoke good English. Great location by The Rhine and within walking distance of everything. Actually I'd score 3.5 if I could. I normally score 5 for quite exceptional, 4 for excellent and 3 for just ok. This hotel is lore than just OK but not excellent. I LIKED: clean, functional, friendly staff, good breakfast, rooms are OK (mini-bar), cable internet in the room is free although poor quality if you need to watch videos... More
