The location is excellent. Near the shopping streets, the train station and lots of bars and restaurants. We got a newly refurbished room. Nice beds. Lots of electric sockets and good but not dimmable (strange?) LED lighting. But the architect had put in a window between the bath and the room. I have seen it before and it is really... More

While the hotel is close to the cathedral, it's worth it to stay somewhere else. The older man that checked us in had the personality of a corpse. There were towels laid all over the hallways and stairs as if they had a major leak. No matter how much we tried we could not get hot water in our room.... More

The hotel has excellent location, the rooms are big and very clean although the decoration is very old. I loved the shampoo provided. The wifi was not very good, at least in my room, but overall I would definitely recommend and go back.

Have stayed there during an exhibition for 10 years now. Small rooms, but perfect cleaned and nice and very correct personnel. Breakfast did cost extra but was really worth the money. The only negative I can tell is a very slow Internet. The location could not be more perfect for exploring Cologne!

Small Hotel with good location. 1min walking Koeln Dom, and 3min Koeln Hbf. Also few minutes from shopping street. Hotel is not new, but is okay. Old man in reseption was helpful and frindly. I found he was working many years this (maybe owner) My room located backside, and streetside is noisy, becauce hotels next door is bar, who playing... More

I stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. The hotel is very close to the city center, Catherdral, central station and a 5-7 minute walk from the tram stops. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. I slept well for 4 hours after which I could hear noises from the street, but it was not too... More

It's basic. My single room was very, very small with one of those shower room plastic moulds things, like in airplanes. As it was Saturday night and my room faced the street, it was also very noisy from the bar next door. However, the service was really friendly, the breakfast was superb, and the location is fantastic, really close to... More

Walking distance to the trainstation and main musuems. Still, bring a detailed map because the street may be a bit hard to find. A small hotel dating from the 70's but very clean, comfortable, nice and generally unbeatable at this price. Very convenient for 1 night on business trip. They have wi-fi but it's a bit slow (especially 4th floor).

We were looking for a room that would suit 3 adults and fell on this hotel. Just steps away from the center, it was a sweet deal! The room was spacious and comfortable enough with an en suite to another cozy bedroom for one person. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good considering that we only... Stayed here on a Friday night. The location was brilliant, near the river, the cathedral, restaurants and bars. The room was a bit dated, but clean and decently sized. When I got back to the hotel at 2am, there was a bit of noise outside, but even though my room was on the street, it was quiet inside and I... More
