Was a little skeptical when we first arrived and saw that small entrance for both the hotel and the carpark. Turns out the carpark is at the back and had many lots. We were also pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. We were given a room at the back on the 2nd floor and the room was spacious... More

Stayed here on a mini 2-day trip to Koln (Cologne). Staff was super friendly and the room was impeccable. Wifi was consistently good. The location was also fantastic, in a nice neighborhood, maybe a 5 minute walk to all the shops, with smaller boutique even closer. All in all, great stay!

I really liked this hotel. It's close to the train station, only a 15 min walk which is good if you speak little German, have just arrived in cologne and haven't figured out the buses/trains. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room (4th floor facing the street) was clean and quire luxurious. Free bottle of water in the... More

I stayed at the Astor for one night. The hotel is conveniently located close to the best shopping in town. The cathedral is also conveniently close. The reception staff was very attentive and able to help me in English. The rate also included free wifi and breakfast. Breakfast was a good mix of continental and hot food. I specifically requested... More

The setup in this hotel was quirky verging on weird. We had a self-contained duplex apartment which was in another building, about 3 doors up the street from reception. We had our own key to come and go as we pleased but the lift opened up right into our bedroom which felt maybe a little odd; apparently the key meant... More

The Astor is a nice hotel however make sure and ask for a room in the back of the building. These rooms are new and much bigger than those in the main building. To get to these rooms you have to walk through the breakfast room and take the stairs. I was shocked that the room I was first given... More

Very nice location, excellent personnel, facilities very well maintained, clean, warm, very good breakfast. You need nothing more! Very close to the Hotel, there was restaurants, sushi bar, cafe, everything was very close. and just 15 minutes walking from DOM. Just 2 metro stations.

I booked this hotel for an 8 night stay, and thoroughly enjoyed the place. It is small, boutique, and very nicely located in the Altstadt area, walking distance to the Dom. Great local shopping and some wonderful local eateries topped it off. To say that the staff at this hotel are wonderful would be an understatement. Nothing was a problem... More

We had a great stay here. The room (#112) was a big double-bedded room, all mod cons, really plush en-suite, really powerful shower. Everything was exceptionally clean as well. We had the best nights sleep we've had for ages, even though the room overlooked the main street, as the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast selection was amazing, cereal, fresh fruit,... More

I spent one night here in October. It is located approx 15 minute walk from the Cathedral and close to two train stations. It is also close to Rudolhplatz tram station. The hotel itself is very clean. I was very happy with the room as it had flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom was well... More
