This Hotel has a nice common area ambiance and caters to families with children. They have computer stations, a play area, and a gaming station. I can't say very much positive about this hotel. Average rooms, reasonably close to Koelnmesse. The hotel bar is OK, but the restaurant and its staff left quite a bit to be desired, The food is mind-bogglingly bad, at least at dinner. The lady front desk staff told us when we check-in that she could not find our booking but we had the print-out booking documents to show, so she allowed us to get into rooms but she said she could not yet checked us in to her hotel system until evening because she got to wait for her boss to arrive... We really enjoyed staying at the Novotel in Cologne. With Novotel, you know what to expect and this was no exception. Everyone was friendly and helpful and there was a huge choice for breakfast. The hotel is about a 10/15 minute walk from the Dom but it was actually quite nice to be away from the bells ringing! More
