We booked this hotel for two nights, and only stayed for one. We wanted to have a nice and relaxing weekend in the Spa and Wellness, but it wasn't quite as we expected. The Spa area is more like a nudist institution. All the saunas are "no-clothing zones" and most people walk around without their clothes in the general Spa... More

recently spent a night here before flying back to USA. We reserved the deluxe suite. It is very spacious and was located over a quiet courtyard. I highly recommend spending the extra money for the deluxe room and the amenities it provides. We used the spa two times that day and it was totally relaxing, especially at night before retiring... The hotel is not a bad choice but it is about 15-20 min walk to the center. It was very cold when we were there so the walk felt longer but it's not bad at all. We did not try the spa so I can't comment on it. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel and probably would... More

We stayed at the Mauritius Alstadt, took the tram over to the larger hotel and used the Therm one evening. Everyone was so accomodating and friendly! The salt water therm indoor/outdoor pool was my favorite, subdued lighting and quiet atmosphere relaxed me very quickly. The main pool and hot tubs were also fun and relaxing. The many saunas were huge... More

Parking: Small lot out front, just enough to unload your suitcases. Parking is in a covered parking lot of a bank 2 blocks away (easy walking distance). Regular price is 18 euro per day, but hotel rate is 13 euro per day. Reception: Friendly, ready with map of the city (including Christmas markets!), directions to the parking garage, directions to... What do you do when you are in Cologne, having just seen Chelsea win away in Germany? Visit the Mauritius Hotel and, specifically, the Spa. 5 saunas (one female only), 2 steam rooms, 2 hot tubs, an outside pool an indoor pool. There is an inexpensive restaurant, good, secure changing facilities, amazingly comfortable seats all over the place. If you... More

We stayed one night at the smaller sister hotel, which was nice, but had free access to the spa at the larger hotel. The spa was just what the doctor ordered! Did not know about the nude bathing, but was not an issue for us. The mineral pools and saunas and foot baths were amazing. Very relaxing, subdued lighting and... More

I have read the reviews of this hotel , however , my experience is totally different. We were there during the Anuga show , and we picked it up because it was near to the exhibition center. We had outrageously small rooms not in the hotel itself , but around a whole block of buildings. You could not move practically.Very... More

This hotel is a little ways from the Cathedral and main train station but definitely walkable. You can ride the metro and the tram but it's a nice walk through shopping area. I enjoyed the spa in the hotel but wish I would have been given a key to a locker in the spa that I could have kept for... More

Spent one night here and wished it had been a week. The hotel is centrally located with private parking. Very clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The spa is one of the most relaxing places we've visited. Apart from a few textiles it was a great place to feel comfortable and at ease. If you're... More
