We stayed here based on the reviews on trip advisor and other research I did on hotels in Cologne. It was such a quirky little hotel, I have never stayed in anything like it. We had the 2 floor maisonette suite. It was very large and had amazing views. We found it quiet and private and really enjoyed the location,... More

We were a group of 5 guys spending 3 nights in this hotel. We have booked 1 double room for single use on the 9th floor with a great view and a balcony going around the hose (which has to be shared with the other guests). In addition, we also had 2 maisonette double rooms. The rooms were nice, but... More

The structure is very original, the hall is to be photographed and the location is in a quiet area near the center. The rooms are a little old, inadequate ventilation during the day and at night even absent, it is turned off at 22:00 because of the noise. Those things are making the quality of sleeping very poor in hot... More

A great hotel. Interesting architecture Breakfast is expensive as is the parking. The rooms are great, plenty of space and excellent service. Our pillows were less than ideal though (no additional pillows in the cupboard).

This is a quirky hotel built in an old water tower. The rooms are a good size, just a little dated but clean and nicely furnished. The staff were very good.... polite and professional - what you would expect from a Small Hotels of the World Property. My only comment is because of the age and structure of the building... More

I was lucky enough to have my company put me up in this historic hotel for a stay in Cologne, Germany (in mid August). This is my fourth time in Cologne at this time of year, and I have to say this is one of the more interesting hotels I've ever stayed in. It was originally a water tower, and... More

The building is really original and the lobby impressivly luxurious. Bedroom in the 10th floor had great view. Bedroom was cosy and well maintained, but there is something there that make you think this is old and could benefit from a fresher look, especially in the bathroom. We enjoyed the bathrobe and little dessert left for us. However it was a... More

this hotel is just 10 min on foot from the historic center. You get a welcoming feel and the hotel gives a luxurious impression. The hotel restaurant is OK, but there are a zillion places nearby in the center. They have a large underground parking. The rooms are large, but warm, I didn't find any airco controls. Because it is... More

My husband booked the hotel as a special treat for me as a water engineer and I did find the building fascinating. we stayed there both ont he way out and the way back from a holiday in Austria and the experience on the way out was appalling. Our dinner was the set 'local' menu and the food was excellent... More

I stayed this hotel with my wife one night. The building looks so nice like a historical monument. Staff were friendly and our room was nice. The bed was not spacious though. We took breakfast at the restaurant and ordered omlet. It took quite long until our plates were delivered to our table. Considering the price, I would not recommend... More
