We stayed in this hotel partly as we needed a car park, which the hotel had free of charge. The hotel is not in the best area, a bit out of the city centre, however there is a supermarket and bakery next door which were handy for supplies. The staff were helpful in directing us on how to get into... more

The hotel Leonardo is strictly a hotel for business - Not leisure. It is situated in a very unsavory part of Cologne - I had obscenities shouted at me and someone tried to snatch my bag the minute I stepped out the door. Beware of internet sites that demand upfront payments as there is often a no cancellation policy, so... more

The Leonardo is about two miles from the centre of Cologne -- as the crow flies -- but to get to the cathedral by public transport involves a few changes on the U-bahn (tram) and the S-bahn (train) networks. The style and decor of the Leonardo is like that of any other large chain; its only 'nod' to luxury was... more

The hotel is clean and the breakfast was just right. We booked 3 rooms, my colleagues and i stayed 3 nights. We looked forward to an exciting time within and around the hotel vicinity but discovered that the hotel stands alone. Few bars around the corner but not lively. Strongly believe the weather contributed to the dullness. Taxi to the... more

My boyfriend and me stayed in this hotel during the Christmas market-period. The hotel was easy to find by car and there was free parking space. When we got off the highway though we immediately disliked the neighbourhood - it looked quite scruffy. The hotel entrance was OK, but the room we had was a bit depressing. When we returned... more

The hotel is close to the exhibition center and outside the city which is slightly inconvenient as there didn't seem to be any restaurants nearby. There is an option to eat in the hotel but you would normally prefer to see a bit more of the area. There is a supermaket right next door however which is very convenient for... more

We stayed in this hotel after I had to visit our Frankfurt office. On the way back my wife and I did a city trip to Cologne/Koln. The hotel is well located since it's close to the Autobahn and you can park for free on the back of the hotel. We took the tram to the city which is only... more

This is my second stay at the hotel and I would reccomend it for those visting Cologne by car. Easy to reach from the autobahn and then easy tram and train connection into the city. Ok its not in the city but it close to the messe and the prices refect this. Good breakfast buffet as well and clean tidy... more

Kosmos is an excellent value in Cologne when attending a convention. The rooms are unusually large and the entire hotel is a T-Mobile hotspot for Internet service. The staff is extremely friendly and service-oriented. While the location is out of the way for downtown and tourist attractions, it is perfect for the exhibition hall, only two short tram stops away more
