To shed some light on my title.... The hotel is average, nice decor in the reception area, and rooms basic. I will come back to that shortly, but just for a quick reference... taxi's do not like driving from cologne city to this hotel and often ignored us or wound back up their window. I am guessing it is too... More

Rooms smells very bad. The smells comes from the bathroom, I tested 2 rooms and they were both smelly. They are also very small and walls are super thick so you can here people farting in other room, you hear basicaly everything. Service is very bad, when you come back at night the doors are locked and you can't get... More

Modern rooms, with nice bathroom and wifi and a great breakfast with sufficient parking space close by. Located at walking distance near the Cologne Messe and a quiet location in residential area. Used many times for short business stays. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is OK. It is modern, interesting, and quirky. The service was fine -- the guy at the front desk is a hoot. It is located away from everything but the messe, in a very industrial area that they have tried to spruce up. Thus, have money for cabs. There may be public transportation, but I did not see... This modern and comfortable hotel is situated in the middle of an historical industrial complex in a part of the city called DEUTZ named after the Deutz Motorcompany. It offers you comfortable, clean and very modern rooms. It's too far from the center to walk back after a night out, you'll have to take a cab but if you have... More

It's 15 minutes walk distance to koelnmesse & s-bahn station, which means a good place for fair visitors. Except this, there is no problem with the hotel. It's clean, staff is polite and helpful. For people who wants to visit cologne, it's better to stay near altstadt, on the other side of Rhein.

Stayed one night while on a business trip. The hotel is very nice with a chic style, friendly and helpful staff and good food. It is however in a very odd location being in a part of Cologne that is ostensibly a very large industrial estate. The Koelnmesse is about 15 minutes walk away and there are some very well... More

Was booked here by local contacts while attending Dmexco. It's about a fifteen minute walk to the Koln Messe trade fair grounds. It's a strange place. Quite well converted older building. A pleasant reception that doubles as a bar too. Very helpful young staff checking in, and took me personally to my room in the building next door (??). Spacious... More

Friends had booked the hotel for a joint birthday party, doing their own catering, as this hotel only does breakfast. I arrived 2 1/5 hours late but the chap at check in was so friendly and welcoming it helped to settle me immediately. Bedroom was above the front door, so expect a little noise from people coming and going but... More

I was staying there for one night. I expected a lot - specially after a very warm welcome at the reception. But after that I discovered a very hot room - with no working air con. In the evening there was only the chance to open the window. but there was a function in the hotel - and a private... More
