Very cozy and nice design hotel close to the Fair, in a industrial area rich of interesting restored spaces and lofts. There is also a nice backyard garden where you can enjoy the breakfast in spring and summertime. The staff is nice and polite. If you're looking for accomodation a bit out of the centre, or close to the fair,... More

I went to the New Yorker Hotel during a fair. As I stayed for a week they "upgraded" me in a flat, really nice, but it wasn't in the same building, so if I need to take breakfast, I was supposed to go outside, and on raining days to take umbrella and jacket because there's no covered connection between the... Booked a double room with short notice over the carnival weekend and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small for a double but it was for only a few hours sleep as we were partying all night. Staff allowed us a late check out 10min before we were supposed as we were so tired. The... To shed some light on my title.... The hotel is average, nice decor in the reception area, and rooms basic. I will come back to that shortly, but just for a quick reference... taxi's do not like driving from cologne city to this hotel and often ignored us or wound back up their window. I am guessing it is too... More

Rooms smells very bad. The smells comes from the bathroom, I tested 2 rooms and they were both smelly. They are also very small and walls are super thick so you can here people farting in other room, you hear basicaly everything. Service is very bad, when you come back at night the doors are locked and you can't get... More

Modern rooms, with nice bathroom and wifi and a great breakfast with sufficient parking space close by. Located at walking distance near the Cologne Messe and a quiet location in residential area. Used many times for short business stays. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is OK. It is modern, interesting, and quirky. The service was fine -- the guy at the front desk is a hoot. It is located away from everything but the messe, in a very industrial area that they have tried to spruce up. Thus, have money for cabs. There may be public transportation, but I did not see... This modern and comfortable hotel is situated in the middle of an historical industrial complex in a part of the city called DEUTZ named after the Deutz Motorcompany. It offers you comfortable, clean and very modern rooms. It's too far from the center to walk back after a night out, you'll have to take a cab but if you have... More

It's 15 minutes walk distance to koelnmesse & s-bahn station, which means a good place for fair visitors. Except this, there is no problem with the hotel. It's clean, staff is polite and helpful. For people who wants to visit cologne, it's better to stay near altstadt, on the other side of Rhein.

Stayed one night while on a business trip. The hotel is very nice with a chic style, friendly and helpful staff and good food. It is however in a very odd location being in a part of Cologne that is ostensibly a very large industrial estate. The Koelnmesse is about 15 minutes walk away and there are some very well... More
