Had 3 night stay here - yes the hotel was surrounded by major works outside looked dreadful but had no effect on the stay here, didn't hear any noise from it. The hotel check-in and check-out were fine. Breakfast cost extra. Wi-Fi costs €9 extra for 24 hours. Good location for attending the Rosenmontag Parade and the staff were really friendly. The hotel was packed with paradegoers and there were performances throughout the day.

It is within walking distance from all the sightseeing places and there is a metro station just few steps away from the hotel. I really enjoyed my 4 day stay in Koln, the Cathedral is very beautiful, well preversed and the inside is amazing. I loved the Xmas markets with the tradicional food, and the hot wine to warm you up.
