Stayed at the Ameron last year at the same time of year and would stay again. No problems at all, good breakfast, easy to get to town and also the exhibition centre. Tram stop just round the corner. Eat in the hotel one evening which was fine too.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Ameron Regent in December for the Christmas markets. It was a very nice clean hotel, and the staff were extremely friendly. We only had breakfast in the hotel, which was very nice and they had a wide variety of food. There was a nice gym and a good sauna. The only thing I... More

My husband and I stayed here for the one night we were in Cologne. It was further from the train station than we expected so we got a taxi which cost about €15. Check in was easy and the staff were polite. There isn't anything in the minibar of the room but apparently you could buy stuff downstairs. There is... More

We choose the Ameron as a middle hotel in a 5 day trip for 2 nights. The welcome was very warm and they made a big fuss of my 6 year old, which was great as she was a little tetchy from the journey :) We had 2 twin rooms on the 10th floor and it was very quiet. The... More

Hotel is located near several large office blocks, away from the main traffic street.. Parking available at € 15 per day, but ample public parking space available nearby AFTER 17:00 when offices are closed.Nice rooms, we were in an executive room, not large but functional. Wifi available in room, but expensive. Nice clean bathroom with bath. Room was located at... More

Having booked a hotel for a romantic getaway in cologne through hotels.com, we were very disappointed to be given a twin room which was set up for single occupancy and so had to request extra towels from reception on our first night there. At check in the person on reception failed to explain any of the facilities available at the... More

Stayed here Wednesday to Saturday to visit the Christmas Markets. When we arrived at the hotel we were told there was no booking us after nearly half an hour our booking was found as we had 2 rooms booked. They gave us 1 room on 2nd floor and the other on the 14th. The 14th room had an excellent view... More

We drove to the hotel which has easy parking underneath and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff on arrival. The hotel is spotlessly clean in the rooms to the public areas, with nice wooden floors and comfortable beds and a good shower. The rooms are functional rather than large, but we enjoyed our stay. It is well connected into... More

The Ameron Regent is in easy reach of public transportation and close the highway. Parking is available. Nice touch - they do not boast a huge limousine, but a small Volkswagen... The restaurant offers a good selection with local and health food as well as standards such as steaks or pasta. Breakfast is OK but not great - I have... More

If travelling by car this restaurant ticks the boxes. Good underground, safe, car park. Hotel and staff are everything you would expect from Germany. Location is a bit out, but the tram runs from a few metres from the hotel and takes you straight into the centre without having to change. We really enjoyed our stay here in the wonderful... More
