We rolled our luggage right from the train station to this great hotel. We had an executive room with a view of the Dom. What a great location and view. Nice room. The hotel did smell like smoke. But that is Europe for you. Stay away from room service food. Great staff. more

We stayed at the Dom for a weekend in June - relaxing after a busy week working in Cologne. The hotel was very nice. Front desk staff was efficient. We unknowingly circled the block 4 times trying to find the hotel before we parked at a parking garage blocks away. It is located steps from the Dom but on a pedestrian only zone. Park underneath the Dom for the closest parking. more

After some very patchy stays in inconsistent and in cases dire Starwood properties in Germany- I hit gold this last week. The Sheraton Essen followed by this hotel. Both are excellent. The Dom has the best location in Koln- right next to the cathedral and in the heart of things- with side views from the rooms of the iconic building.... more

Very nice hotel; great location near the Dom, train station, river, restaurants and shops. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good but somewhat pricey. more

The service, amenities, and location was only surpassed by the beauty of the Dom itself. The room was gorgeous - well-appointed and maintained. A wonderful local eatery is located directly behind the hotel with regional specialties (sour braten, kraut, etc.). Two steps from the front door is the cathedral and it's a short walk to the Rhein. more

Quite a posh hotel, chose it because only in Cologne for one night and wanted to see the Dom. Very impressed with the spacious rooms and a treat to have a bath! Friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast. more

The Dom hotel is located directly at the Dom close to the station. There come the drawback: This area is pretty dodgy, however, the hotel is nice. The rooms are small but modern. The service at the reception is great, however, service at breakfast is slow. more

Stayed here for two nights in an Executive room with a view on the Christmas Markets and the Dom. The room is very big . The bathroom is not that big. The windows keep the noise outside so you have no noisenuisance, even if their are concerts or Christmas markets ! The breakfast is also very good with great fresh... more
