Chose this hostel based on TA reviews, availability and price. Was in Cologne for Christmas Markets and location is in between Neumarkt and Rudolfplatz. 2 UBahn stops from Hauptbahnof. Modern looking facility, free breakfast and wifi. First experience at a hostel...had private room/private bath, 2 twin beds. Small armoire with a couple of shelves, desk and chair. I'd say only... Visited Cologne in November 2014 with two friends for a spontaneous last minute booking. Luckily I came across this underrated gem as the alternatives that were available at such short notice didn't look the most appealing Location - Our flight arrived at Cologne airport at 9.45, and in under one hour later we were checking into the hotel! We jumped... More

We stayed here for a quick one night visit to Koln on our way to Munich. I was very impressed with the accommodations. We had a family room and our boys loved the bunk beds and the room was very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the location near the center of town for shopping, transportation and... More

The hostel is very nice, all refurbished, helpful staff, good price, wonderful shower, roof terrace where also have breakfast, etc The main problem is that in front of the hostel there is a bar/club open until 2/3 AM during w-ends with tables outside and if you have the windows of your room open, there is no way to sleep! I... More

Really nice experience, there ! Nice room, even though I'm not a big fan of having a bed between 2 walls, nice shower room with a large shower "à l'italienne". Staff was really welcoming and helpful (again a special thank to Roland for his kindness and his easygoing way of welcoming his guests). Location is excellent in Cologne, really central... More

We stayed in hostel Köln for one night as a part of a bachelor weekend. We parked our cars in public underground parking which is situated nearby. The hostel is surprisingly big and modern and situated not far from the historical centre and shops. We arrived at noon and our rooms were not ready yet, but on the ground floor... More

It marking two stars but when we saw our room, it's not like a two satrs hostel at all ! It was nice, clean and really new. The beds, look new and not a single stain on the sheet. The toilet and the bathroom are clean and new. The breakfast is the best, I didn't expect such a luxurious for... More

We had a good stay at Hostel Koln. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The lobby had games for the kids as well as computers to use. Our room had bunk beds for the kids and a regular European bed for us (like two twins pushed together). We had a large shower, sink and toilet in the bathroom. The... More

After booking a meeting and flights to Cologne we quickly realised that there were no hotel rooms that could be booked under €1000. After searching the Internet we found rooms here and after much laughing in the office we booked in to give it a go. The hostel reception is new, bright and tidy and much like you would expect...
