Really nice experience, there ! Nice room, even though I'm not a big fan of having a bed between 2 walls, nice shower room with a large shower "à l'italienne". Staff was really welcoming and helpful (again a special thank to Roland for his kindness and his easygoing way of welcoming his guests). Location is excellent in Cologne, really central... More

We stayed in hostel Köln for one night as a part of a bachelor weekend. We parked our cars in public underground parking which is situated nearby. The hostel is surprisingly big and modern and situated not far from the historical centre and shops. We arrived at noon and our rooms were not ready yet, but on the ground floor... More

We where there with 2 kids. Ewerything was super. Clean, not small room, new shower, all equipment warks propertly, service good, breakfast teasty, price low, place perfect to foot walk to old town. We got room with one big and one 2 floor bed. Kids was very happy.

It marking two stars but when we saw our room, it's not like a two satrs hostel at all ! It was nice, clean and really new. The beds, look new and not a single stain on the sheet. The toilet and the bathroom are clean and new. The breakfast is the best, I didn't expect such a luxurious for... More

We had a good stay at Hostel Koln. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The lobby had games for the kids as well as computers to use. Our room had bunk beds for the kids and a regular European bed for us (like two twins pushed together). We had a large shower, sink and toilet in the bathroom. The... More

After booking a meeting and flights to Cologne we quickly realised that there were no hotel rooms that could be booked under €1000. After searching the Internet we found rooms here and after much laughing in the office we booked in to give it a go. The hostel reception is new, bright and tidy and much like you would expect... Very pleasant staff, very helpful! Breakfast room light and bright with good breakfast for this hotel category. The problem for me was, no sleep without ear plugs. Very bad soundproofing. You hear every step from the corridor, and adjacent rooms. Would not recommend to any 'light sleeper'.

I had several mailconversations with the staff booking this ho(s)tel. When we arrived they said we had had an offer but did never confirm (even though I had it on mail). Luckily there was a family room left so that we could stay. We choose this hotel because of the family rooms. In our case (105 on first floor) there... More

Overall, we (family of four) really liked this place. Great convenience to shopping, sightseeing but really hard to find without a GPS. Pros: Easily the best breakfast buffet we encountered on our two week journey through Europe. The breakfast @ €6.00 per person was affordable for an unlimited buffet. The room was modern and decently furnished. Typically German where nothing... More

This looked to be a great hostel. Big modern rooms with very functional and large bathrooms. Unfortunately, the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows even worse. But the main reason I didn't like this hotel was the incompetence of the house keepers and the rudeness of the reception staff. The housekeepers accused us of moving the tv and scratching, but...
