I stayed for 2 nights at Altstadt hotel in Bielefeld. The room is good, brand-new and well decorated. Air conditionning is missing and the street might be noisy. The bedding is very confortable. The lobby is very "vintage", it has not been renovated since 1980's I guess! So if you love this period you would enjoy the lobby. The breakfast... More

We recently stayed at the Altstadt Hotel in Bielefeld, Germany and we thought it was excellent! Evidently, it has recently been updated so the rooms were modern, comfortable and very clean. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. It includes a good breakfast with eggs, bacon, meats, cheeses, toast, fruits, yogurt, etc. it is located near the Old Town which... More

The place must have undergone a complete make-over. Rooms are stylish and modern. I was probably the first person to sleep in there. The location is just off Jahnplatz in the charming heart of town and makes it the perfect location for a city trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for shopping and dining. Great breakfast.

No doubt, it is well-located. All shops are around and 5 minutes walking distance to the local subway. The hotel looks old, and is not very sound-proof. You can basically hear everything someone walking along the corridor. The breakfast was quite generous with plenty of food selection. Doing laundry was another funny thing. Some staffs told me there was no... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2012. The staff was very friendly and did the best they could, but the hotelproduct isn’t of the standard you expect in 2012. The room was clean, and the breakfast was ok but expensive. The location is fine, but there might be some noise from the surroundings. What I found... More

Location wise it does not get any better, smack bang in the heart of the (albeit small) centre and very close to the brewhouse and other bars/restaurants, so getting back after a night out a small walk or stagger at the most! However for those used to up to date chain hotels this is the very opposite and other hotels... More

A group of friends and family stayed here for four nights. It was very nice. The rooms aren't fancy, but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They have working windows so that you can get some fresh air and a blanket in the closet for those of us who find duvets too hot in most situations. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff... More

This is a rather small, modest, traditional, probably family-owned hotel in the old town area of Bielefeld. I've stayed for a couple of nights on a business trip in a single room. I liked everything about this hotel. The location - the best location in town, quiet, yet very central, in a nice neighbourhood, close to public transport, close to... More
