Like others have said, this place is a bit rough around the edges. But, if you're getting a deal like I got, you won't be complaining about what you get for the value. The rooms are on the small side of cozy, but more than adequate for a single. The water heat and pressure do take some adjustment, but that... More

We arrived on very hot day and had to park in a car park across the street which we thankfully didn't have to pay for at the weekend. I was greeted and she suddenly started talking German to a guest behind us, which I thought was very rude. The room was just about bigger enough for two people. The shower... More

Nice comfortable hotel, well located and polite staff. Beds are comfortable and the quilts were lovely and warm. The only slight negative is that the breakfast choice was fairly limited, but it could have been because we were staying off-season.

The room is very small but pretty, keeping everything simple, you don't need more for a one night stay but it might be too small if you are planing to stay longer. The bathroom is way too small: you'll be forced to open the door if you want to brush your teeth!. The breakfast was quite good considering the price... More

dispite first impressions , due to a small misunderstanding with our our booking we found ourselves returning to the hotel in the early evening. to find our belongings in bin bags behind reception! . in spite of our protestations and much discussion with the management they offered no satisfaction unless we paid full price for another night, so we found... The location is on a busy main road so there is loud traffic noise outside. My room was right next to a massive neon sign, and the light came into the bedroom. The mattresses were so springy that I had backache for several days afterwards. The internet barely worked. The breakfast was perfunctory. A place to avoid

Stopped in this hotel for the night because it offered what I was looking for: reasonable price, wifi, breakfast and a garage. The Hotel is pretty central, less than one kilometre from the town centre, with a few supermarkets, a launderette and an Irish bar in the close vicinity. The stairs leading up to the non smoking rooms are a... More

Stayed here 8 nights in sept. about $155 a night U.S. Most other hotels were full so didn't have much of a choice. Rooms are small as are the bathrooms but kept clean. Our room faced Julicher st. which by 5 am gets very busy. every morn. I would wake up and put in my ear plugs. Rooms facing the... More

I was a little dubious about this hotel, having booked on the internet and the fact you never really can trust the pictures. It is very easy to find on Julicher Stasse, near the centre (10-15 mins) of Aachen. A 6 space carpark is available however the spaces are tight and you need to reverse out if you drive in(and... This is a fine hotel for the budget traveller. The room was small but reasonably well equipped, and especially clean, so no worries. The mattress was really too soft, and if you sat on the edge of the bed, you risked falling off as the mattress is that soft. Breakfast was good with a large choice of food, though it... More
