Our room was on the 5th floor and was lovely and light but small, although more than adequate for one night. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. This was the only hotel we stayed in in Germany to provide tea and coffee making facilities, but there was no milk so we had to go on a long walk... More

On arriving I was very disappointed with what I found. On entering the room I found it smelt bad and had staining on the curtain, this looked like it may have been bird dropping as a result of the window being open. I later asked to use an iron to press my shirt for the morning and was told that... More

The rooms are the typical Mercure business rooms, basic but comfortable and for sure good for a night stay. Bathroom looked a bit old but clean and sufficient. The evening reception was not very helpful. We had booked two rooms requesting them to be close together or at least on the same floor. When we got the room cards we... More

I usually stay in Mercure Hotel am Dom during my stay in Aachen. I am quite happy with the location of the hotel where it's located few minutes walking to bus stop, shopping areas, malls, restaurants and other city attractions. A taxi stop is right in front the hotel. Approximately 15 minutes to Train Station if no traffic. Mercure is... More

As an Accor silver card holder, I'm a regular user of Accor hotels, and was booked into the Mercure am Dom last week for two nights. It's been about 18 months since I was last in the hotel, and the hotel was fairly busy. I was disappointed on this occasion. Breakfast items were running out and not replaced both mornings.... More

Stayed in Aachen for four nights on business. In short, the hotel location was excellent, I think you cannot ask for a better one. Great buffet breakfast with a huge selection. Good rooms, and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked a double superior and when asking what improvement it meant against a standard room the reply was the balcony heading to Peterstrasse which is the same as camping in the middle of a highway. The reception area smells like a dirty toilet at all times. We only found 2 pillows in the room and had to request 2... More

On rare visits to Aachen. I tend to stay at this hotel. My recent stay was short but I was highly impressed with the service. The staff were particularly helpful in finding me a Blackberry charger as I had forgotten mine.

best location you can get, middle of city center and walking distance to almost all city's attraction and public transport. I only noticed there's no in room dining menu, but we didn't need it as we were at walking distance to all the good restaurants in the area. Breakfast is a bit overpriced, and we didn't include it, as many... More

This hotel is convenient for shops, station, and sites of Aachen. the room was very clean, well appointed and really bright - with floor to ceiling windows on two sides. Hotel breakfast was buffet style. Loads of choice and set us both up for the rest of the day. Only needed a coffee and cake to see us through to... More
