I booked this fab find through Aachen Tourist Information Centre. Couldn't get any closer to the Cathedral and the hotel was a step back in time experience. I loved everything about this hotel. You must try it. more

The Brulls was an accommodation highlight on our 9 day visit to Northeastern Germany. We were delighted by our chance discovery of this owner-operated gem. We arrived in Aachen, without hotel reservations or a clue where to stay, on a chilly Monday in mid-December. We stopped in Aachen on our return journey after a long day of driving. It was the opening day of an international equestrian event. After walking the streets to find a place to stay, we settled on the Hotel Brulls am Dom. The kind proprietor offered our family of five three rooms for 200 Euro; half the price being quoted... more
