I was in Aachen for a 5 week working trip and the company booked the IBIS Marschiertor. The room was small but adequate with tv, pay-tv, clean shower (no tubs) & modern finishing. Aachen is not exacty a tourist paradise but if you need an overnight stop there are 2 Ibis hotels. Normaluhr is in a slightly better area than this one, Marschiertor, but they are both within walking distance of each other and have underground carparks.
