The restaurant downstairs is a gorgeous old-world restaurant, where they have good food and wine (of course) and attentive, friendly service. The room was nice. Nothing special, but everything we needed and everything was clean. There were constructions across the street while we were there that was noisy early in the morning, but the location is otherwise great to walk... More

We stopped for lunch at that Hotel and Restaurant, during our guided tour of Schwerin Castle and St. Mary's Church in Rostock (see my review for both). The meal was included with our tour and we were very happy with what we had. They also have a very good selection of wine but we decided to go for a local... More

My boyfriend and me went to Schwerin for a single night......Our stay at the Weinhaus Wöhler was ok, but nothing more............we asked for a kingsizebett and had to singlebeds........the textile on the chairs in the room was so dirty and used, that the really should change it........When we booked, it said, that we would be greeted with a welcomedrink.......which we... A very enjoyable 3 night stay. Immaculately clean room in a friendly hotel in the centre of historic and pretty Schwerin. My room (called Ausblick) had a very comfortable double bed, a sitting area and good floor space, plus shower and loo. The room looked over the courtyard garden and outdoor eating area but I was not troubled by any... More

This was a lovely old hotel in the heart of Schwerin, with friendly staff and clean rooms. However, we arrived reasonably late on the Friday, and our 'double' room had twin beds which couldn't be pushed together because of a pillar in the middle of the room. I suspect that if we had arrived earlier we might have been more... More

Very nice hotel with a lovely atmosphere. Very nice and clean rooms. Missing an elevator. Breakfast at 12€ was overwhelming. 4 kinds of jam and cheese. Choise of egg dishes, 4 kinds of bread. Tasty sliced sausages and much more. The Wöhler Passage is the area for smokers, beautifully decorated. The backyard is worth to visit for a rest. Good... More

The location is absolutely perfect, I also liked the traditional ambiente. The staff and the whole operation, including restaurant is very professional, prices are reasonable, room interior was clean and modern. We even got an "upgrade" to the very large suite under the roof.
