The location is ideal for old city sights, close to the river and 2-3 tram stops away from the train station. Still, it is quiet and you can get a good sleep. The room is big enough, comfortable, clean and with decent facilities (no fridge, 'though). The staff is very kind.

It was last minute booking on our trip to Rostock to visit friends. Never been in the own before. The hotel is spread over 3 buildings with courtyard with main entrance thought the passage from the main shopping/ pedestrian street. We got double twin room for €35 a night excluding breakfast via booking.com Room very clean and comfy, flat TV,... More

Slept there 1 night, on business travel. Single room very small but extremely clean, with kettle and tea/coffee choice, bathroom with shower, new mattress. Buffet breakfast and everything was very good. Located very centrally. Price was extremely fair. I would probably go back again if I have to travel with little budget.

You must approach the reception on foot through various alleys, but not quite sure if your car will get a parking ticket or towed away while gone. Being an old town on a hill, the city is riddles with pedestrian only streets, one-way streets, zoned streets, etc. A navigation nightmare. The hotel rooms are scattered over various buildings in several... More

Great rooms, on different level in different buildings. Both kitted out with super comfy beds and pillows, new and cleantastic bathrooms. Small but airy due to the high ceilings.' Breakfast served at Leon's next door was delicious, varied and perfectly loacted outside on the terrace.

For a reasonably priced hotel the location is absolutely unbeatable just a few meters from the middle of the pedestrian zone. Breakfast is excellent and for a dinner option you get discount vouchers for the Hopfenkeller just around the corner. We tried it and liked especially the atmosphere, food was good too. The rooms are small, but clean. The bed... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Breakfasts were good, but be aware that yo have to walk to the cafe in the another building where breakfast is served. Same is reception desk - also requires some walking excercise. Hotel provides no iron. During check out there was no cash, I was asked to pay credit card. Location is just... More

The strong point for this hotel is its location, immediately adjacent to the main shopping street and central to the points of interest in Rostock. The facilities are in separate buildings - check in in one building, rooms in another, breakfast in a third. But all were in immediate proximity of each other. Our room was reasonable in size for... This is a really good hotel set aroung the Hopfenmarkt in different buildings. Small rooms but very clean and well furnished. Super restaurant with wonderful breakfast and very relaxed courtyard atmosphere. Not luxury but very reasonable for a few days stopover in Rostock

I had found a rather positive article about this hotel in a German guidebook, so I booked it. Only then did I realize how devastating some of the reviews published by tripadvisor were, so we were ready for anything. But on arrival. this "garni" turned out to be a totally refurbished, well-kept, clean hotel ideally located right in the middle... More
