We were in the area for a birthday party and the hotel looked like the best of the limited choices for an overnight stay - but I wasn't expecting much. However it was absolutely fine: comfortable room, free wifi, tasty breakfast and lovely staff who helped us out with ordering taxis and rustled up sandwiches and biscuits for us when... More

Unlikely you're here for pleasure. This is a traditional (more formal) hotel operated by the Salzgitter AG. Rooms are "basic business" standard and you'll likely have to ask for an additional towel (at the front desk). It is 4 star by European standards and if you're used to it you'll miss the 5th one. Germans in this part of the... More

N52°09.012' E10°19.129' This hotel in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt is still part of the Salzgitter AG, one of the largest steel producers in Europe. It was built during the construction of Salzgitter AG predecessor, the Reichswerke Hermann Göring, in 1937 for party bosses to oversee the construction of the Salzgitter steel plant. According to local historian, Rudolf Hess and Hermann Göring stayed in... More

The hotel is very well situated for my business trip being only minutes from my destination. However while the food is good the room is aging. Two small windows and a cramped bathroom. The bed mattress could do with replacing. The water in the shower has no mid point either. It either ran freezing cold or boiling hot. Will try... More

We celebrated our grandson's wedding at the hotel. We stayed 5 nights . We were very pleased with everything: The staff were friendly and spoke fairly good English, the reception was held in a large ballroom and the food was excellent. In our spare time, we would walk over to the large park and spend a few hours in a... More

Beautiful place, lovely. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with study area and a large bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast. Nearby there are many venues. The hotel is equipped with parking. Really nice place, I will return this winter. The only flaw is that it difficult to understand English .. prefer that you speak their language.

I've been there twice already on business trips. This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Salzgitter and enjoys a good location with plenty of parking spots. While the breakfast is definitely the highlight of the place (without being unforgettable), the rooms are starting to feel old and the bathroom being way to small, especially considering the size of the... Stayed here for two nights as part of a business trip. 3rd time at this hotel. Very accommodating, helpful staff. Food is high quality. The rooms are well presented and have all the necessary furnishings and equipment that would be expected in a quality establishment. Top marks!
