Six of us flew to Hannover (from Southampton) for the Christmas Markets, specifically to visit Hamelin. In actual fact, we preferred the markets in Hannover - lots of stalls, beautifully decorated and plenty of variety. I stayed for one month, when you stay in Marten Hotel, you feel you are home, it is very clean, elegant and great location. more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Martins for 20 nights in September/October 2005. Room - Clean and Neat, Spacious, Bright. No tub, shower only. Mini bar. Big Windows, lots of sun. Very good maid service. Non smoking rooms available, which we requested. Room had everything we needed plus a large closet. The building, I'm guessing, was built around... more
