This hotel would be vastly better if it receives a face-lift. The location is good and the staff really friendly and helpful but the rooms are stuck in the 80's. The breakfast venue is light and airy but the quality of the selection can also improve. Parking on-site is convenient and there is a very good restaurant nearby for dinner.

I spent 6 days to attend the Cebit 2015 from 16 to 21 Mar. The metro was 10 minutes walk from the hotel so it was very convenient to use the metro to go to Cebit or use the train to go to the Airport. In the otherhand the Hotel is facing the Gorgeous & breathtaking the New Town Hall... More

From the outside the hotel looks as if it's condemned. The plaster is crumbling and the rain has left traces of the 1970s. The lobby on the other hand benefits from a recent update, perhaps from the 1990s. As for the room, it's no frills. Small shower with average beds. The free wifi is abysmally slow, but T-Mobile offers faster... More

Only a few minutes walk from the very center of the city, easy to get there by car and the hotel has it all. Staff was really helpful and the room was big and clean with a great view to the beautiful town hall. We hate to go lower than 4 stars, and this hotel really lives up to it's... More

A good hotel, decent. The staff is very discreet and efficient. The position is very central, located right across the street from city hall. The view can be seen through the windows is superb, especially in the evening and night. Is located very close to the old city center, a pedestrian area full of shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants where you... The hotel is conveniently located close to the mains shopping areas, the train station and the Weinachtmarkt (Christmas Market). Small and outdated television, predominantly germanspeaking channels and movies, but other than that the room was ok. We booked a room for two adults and two kids (5 and 8) and they tried to put us in a room with a... More

The hotel is located near the city center and the park area. Their breakfast was pretty pricey at €20 per person. The breakfast spread was reasonable. There is a church near the hotel and on the hour, you can hear the church bell. The rooms are dated and need renovation. You cannot adjust the room temperature in the room.

Beware! The air conditioning extends only to Reception and some public rooms. It is not available in the bedrooms. The concrete and glass structure of this antiquated 1970's structure retains the heat and the south facing bedrooms are uncomfortably hot, stuffy and airless. Uncomfortable to sleep with the window closed and virtually impossible to sleep with the window open because... More

Hideous concrete edifice, but much nicer inside if a little dated in decor - pink walls/blue carpets. Right opposite the Rathaus, and on a main boulevard, so chimes from the clock and traffic noise if your room faces that way. Weather was warm and sunny when I stayed, so south(ish) facing room was quite hot late afternoon and evening. No... More

An imposing concrete 1970’s block that whilst spacious is quite boring inside and out. Caters for mostly large groups. Evening supper could only be described as uninteresting, though their buffet breakfasts were quite good. Breakfasts are a bustle and a hassle, particularly when several coach parties are in occupation. Facing the front with views to the Rathaus is much better... More
