I spent here two weeks on two distinct business trips. Room was large and comfortable, although bathroom looked a bit old. The place is very quiet and sleep quality good, although the facility is within a few minutes away from the railway station. Staff is friendly, breakfast good and internet connection free and reasonably fast.

I stayed in this hotel 3 days during business trip in March. 5-10 min walk from Railway station and pedestrian zone in Old City. Friendly staff, but sometimes not fluent in English. Good breakfast. Furniture in rooms queit old, but rooms is clean. I have a problem with WiFi connection on the 3rd floor, but in lobby and restaurant it... More

A very nice, quiet and friendly guesthouse, in a residential area just outside the old town centre. Not bad location, within 5-10 minutes walk to the central area. The guesthouse does not offer 24h staffed reception, but you get a key to the front door to come and go as you please. The bedroom was clean, well there were some... More

It's a great little hotel. As others have noted, the furnishings are quite outdated, and if you can't get over that, then this is not a place for you. But I was totally sold on the place on the basis of its breakfast, which just blew me away. There was lox and hot rolls and quite a few kinds of... More

The hotel Kasseler Hof is located not far from the train station and the city center of Göttingen. I found it very good for a business trip: essential but clean, with a very good breakfast. There is also a restaurant, but it is closed on Mondays. My room was large enough, and wireless connection was available for free.

Stayed at the hotel Kasseler Hof for two nights and found this little hotel (almost a b&b) to be a good alternative to more expensive places in Göttingen. The reasons I liked this hotel are particularly: - It was very quiet, one could easily find sleep for the night. The hotel is located in a residential area, no busy highways... More

Don't get me wrong, this place was a decent stay and had free parking, but wow, my jaw dropped when I saw the room. Clearly not updated since oh, say, 1982. Yes, new beds and dressers, and pretty clean, but the bathroom and fold out foam chair-beds were straight out of a suburban basement rec room. It was like walking... More
