When we stayed here for the first time in September 2008, my husband had the flu and we couldn't really enjoy the beautiful countryside next to the hotel. Now we returned to visit my mother and to attend my high school class reunion which also took place in a room at this hotel (beautiful room) which was downstairs. We had... More

This hotel is usually full, I cannot understand why. It is not a 4 star (except for the price) as it would like to think. Most things about it are average except for the wifi which is poor. I stayed there last week and had to try 3 rooms for a wifi that even connected. If you are working and... More

Stayed here recently on business with some colleagues from work in the UK. The place was superb. Rooms are basic but very clean. Food was amazing. I suggest you try the Brown Cabbage. Not a pleasant sounding dish but trust me it's fantastic. Breakfast was a wonderful choice of cold meats etc with the usual hot offers. Scrambled eggs were... More

The hotel is a located a few km out of Braunschweig on a very busy road. I booked a “komfortzimmer” and asked for a quiet room. We had a large room with a view on a field of grass. I was a bit worried as there was also a view on the terrras of the cafe and restaurant but luckily... More

Good 4* business hotel, even if it seems only a good 3*. Very clean. Rooms are quite small but enough. The hotel restaurant Is very very good. The included breakfast has a lot of different foods. There Is a free wireless connection. This hotel Is not the best one i visited in my life, but it Is more than acceptable.... More

I drove to this hotel after 45 minute drive on a rental car from Hannover airport, found it in a nice quiet location about 3km from Brunswick (Braunschweig) city. Service was excellent, check-in was QUICK (they only wanted me to sign on the line, everything else had been filled in by hotels.com) before they handed me the key. The room... More

We stayed at Hotel Seela in September 2008 to visit my parents who live in Braunschweig and we were delighted with the lovely suite they gave us. This was on a weekend (2 nights). We never heard any voices from other rooms although the hotel was full. Our windows opened to the back of the house where it was very... More

I don't know why people may go to Braunschweig. I went there for a business meeting and booked this hotel on the recommendation of our German collaborators. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. I very much enjoyed the peaceful feeling of sitting on the porch at the restaurant at nightfall and listening to the absolute silence of... More
