The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. All the staff were very helpful, particularly in explaining the parking arrangement and recommending a very nice Italian restaurant for dinner. The town was not particularly interesting and there was building works taking place in the neighbouring street but, on the whole, I was very pleased with the stay.

I was here during a big sports event, so the price was very (very, very) high, which is considered in this evaluation. The situation of the hotel is very central in the best shopping area with great access to public communication. Good restaurants are close. The room standard was below average. I had a room under the roof, which was... More

The double room we had was superb, spacious, first floor with excellent bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. Ideally located in the centre of the old city, it is convenient for business clients. But do beware of the night club on the street at the back with their clients noisy until the early hours.

My wife and I stayed almost a week in this pleasant, affordable, hotel in the city center. The building is older, but very clean with comfortable rooms with updated bathrooms. Do not expect lots of frills as this is a classical european hotel. During the week it is frequented by business travelers, and on the weekend it gets lots of... More

Stayed at Fruehlings-Hotel (Hotel of Spring) and ejoyed a 'real' single room, which is only provided in older hotels in Europe I believe (maybe Japan as well). All needs are fullfilled in a tiny small room. Actually this was 4th floor. The elevator reaches only 3rd floor. Advisible is to ask for backside. Nice breakfast buffet with local specialities, great... More

Hotel is located in the center of Braunschweig. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. Breakfast is very good and it is included in the price. Service was helpful. Overall good hotel, although a bit lacking a personality.

I have been staying at this hotel fairly regularly over the last 3-4 years and have seen it slide from reasonably priced mediocrity to overpriced terribleness. Yeah, sure, it suffers from the same problems that you get in ANY hotel in Germany- small towels in the bathroom, uncomfortable beds, strange choice of furniture in the rooms; but the Fruehlings just... We had a very nice stay here. The furniture is a little dated, but the room was quiet and comfortable, and the bathroom had recently been updated. Staff was very pleasant, housekeeping good, and the breakfast buffet was really nice, with chopped fresh fruit, yogurt, sweet rolls, and cereals in addition to the usual bread, cheese, and coldcuts. I really... More

Rooms are clean and that's the only good thing i can say about this overpriced hotel. First of all rooms are very small, especially on the 4th floor (BTW, elevator don't go to the 4th floor, you need to get out on 3rd floor take the stairs). Don't expect air conditioner, there is very old fan if you like. There... More

There's nothing you HAVE to complain about: You've a clean room and get some breakfast, in a really central location. But that's all. The Fruehlingshotel in Braunschweig is definetly a place where you won't feel homey. Never experienced such a poor service before. Reservation system can't distinguish between double & twin, parking lot was full (which was an advantage: street... More
