To start off it was impossible to park anywhere near the hotel, we had to park over half a mile away. There is a very small hotel car park which they charge to use and having watched cars attempting to maneuver around the car park with varying degrees of success I'm glad I didn't risk my car. The guy who... More

Staying next to this beautiful castle sounded exciting to me - but I was a bit disappointed. This is not really a hotel - more a residence. No elevator - even if you stay in the third floor, no lounge are etc. Very small room and I could hear the people from next door just a bit too much.... On... More

The man at the desk was polite (barely), but didn't make us feel very welcome. We had to park really far from the hotel, so be aware if you have a lot of luggage and there is no lift. Although clean, the room was very small for the 3 of us and our son's bed was not a proper bed.... More

A good place to stay, when you look for good value for money with a great view over the river Rhein! A warm welcome, a clean room with good WiFi connection ! The bath is not the biggest, but it does it job ! Some good restaurants around the corner and great ice-cream next door ! Parking in the side... More

We stayed here in route elsewhere. It was clean and comfortable but could do with some redecoration. Our bathroom showed signs of modifications (holes on tiles from previous fittings etc). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it appears a charming setting with views over the Rhine, the road in front is very busy in the mornings and rooms... More

The location is fabulous across the road from the Rhine and next to the Palace and gardens. But. No lift, tiny room, malfunctioning bathroom plumbing fixtures. We barely walk around the bed. On the bright side we got the special room with the balcony for 61 Euro because it was Sunday night. The price the next night was 134 Euro!... More

Arrival at the location, by the looks of the add we thought we were actually staying at the Castle next door. driving around looking for parking, found one 2 blocks away, the Hotel charges for parking in their 5 car lot, which was full, overcharge for Breakfast, nice layout but neither of us eat that much. The Refrigerator was broken,... More

During my three day stay the floor was not swept, bathroom not cleaned and coffee condiments not restocked. The bed was haphazardly made and dirty dishes left in the room. The crowded room is overpriced. The view of the Rhine was ok but I don't recommend this hotel for a pleasure trip because of the mediocre location. There are only... More

It seems that they recently renovated the hotel so everything is nice and clean. The room I stayed in was a non-smoking room and it smelled fresh. Unlike some hotels in Europe where they say the room is non-smoking but they really aren't. Rooms are larger than I expected for a European business hotel. The bathroom was large. The staff... More
