I was staying at this hotel for 3 nights whilst working in Wiesbaden and have no complaints about the hotel in general, it is a 3 star budget hotel, the room was very big and clean but with a single bed and a wardrobe the rooms are very sparse, the bathroom was tiny and the shower was an experience in... We stayed for one night in this hotel and it was great. The ladies at the reception were multilingual and managed to communicate with most of their guests. it is a small cosy hotel in a perfect location. It is right in the city and less than 5 minutes walk to the beautiful kurhaus and marktkirche. Not to forget, the... More

Because my first choice hotel did not honor my pre-paid reservation, I ended up paying €208 per night (€199 + €9 for breakfast) at City Hotel. While this is outrageous, it does have the advantage that they have vacancies during conferences while everything else is booked. You're better off eating breakfast at most of the cafes in the area.

For sure, this is not a "nice" hotel, or one of the "better" in Wiesbaden, but, it is not advertised as such. What it is is a very clean, moderately priced hotel steps from the inner city. Breakfast is provided (I didn´t eat it, but it looked adequate with eggs, meat, yogurt, cereals, bread, assorted spreadables, jams, teas, etc. I... More

I have stayed at a number of hotels in wiesbaden and know that whenever there is a convention or conference in town the rates shoot up, booking at short notice all the regular hotels were booked up and I paid euros 250 for one night !! It was clean and the bed was comfy but its all a bit tired.... More

Small hotel located on a one-way street in what appears to be the Turkish section of the city. Checked in to find a mediocre room at best. The carpet was faded and widely stained; towels in the bathroom mismatched, with one of the bath towels sporting a hole. After two days, returned to find my toilet leaking, so the front... More

Stayed in the hotel for a couple of days after my surgery. I booked from the hospital thinking the price was a bargain. Unfortunately I couldn't come on the appointed day and called 36hrs earlier to notify them. They accepted the change in reservation but surcharged me 80 percent of the days' price. In fact, I was surcharged for two... More

At this price in town it's not going to be Claridges or The George V but I thought it was reasonable. It works, it's clean, it's a place to get your head down, clean up and shoot off the next day..... and they didn't charge me for parking the car either. If they do try, remind them nobody would come... More

Was there for 1 night on business. Hotel is simple, but was adequate for 1 night. The hotel is centrally located, which is great for walking around the main parts of Wiesbaden. Breakfast was quite good, better than i thought it would be. Even got a free coffee at night from the small kitchen behind the reception counter.

Hi all, I'm currently staying in the City Hotel, Wiesbaden, Germany. The rooms are small, but clean and breakfast at 8€ is ok. As the previous commenters stated the place is excellent if you want to see the historic city. For me it's ecellent as well as just around the corner there is a major bus stop where I can... More
